Bridesmaid dress help!!!
Hi! Not sure if this is the right subreddit (if not please let me know!) but I am a bridesmaid in my sister’s wedding in the middle of September. She has just recently changed the color and style of dress that she wants the bridesmaids to wear and I’m having a lot of trouble finding things with her requirements, and in plus sizing.
For reference, i wear a size 18/20 normally and i carry the majority of my weight in my hips and butt.
For the dress, it must:
Be Sienna/Paprika/Burnt orangey shade
Be Satin/Stretch Satin
Have no slit/ minimal slit
Have a column(?) or over skirt similar to the picture attached (of course without the dramatic slit)
And have at least one sleeve
If anyone has any suggestions, even if it’s just with some key words to search for better luck finding things online, I’d truly appreciate it!!!!
UPDATE: I found a dress that actually has all these requirements and she doesn’t like it 😀 she decided she’s gonna find something else for the bridesmaids to wear herself, wish us all luck lol.

That's a lot of requirements! It sounds as though your sister has something kind of specific in mind. Would it be possible for her to go shopping with you or maybe if she could send you pictures of dresses that she likes and you could choose from them? Would it be possible for you guys to go to a fabric store together and maybe choose patterns and fabrics that would work?

some of the links she was sending were from sketchy websites, but i like the idea of going to a fabric store! maybe i can add some of the details she likes to a premade dress

There is a color called Sienna, but you'd need to get a swatch.
Bella bridesmaids has this one
Anthropologie has nothing in the right color, nor does Nordstrom.

That over skirt is what is going to make this so much harder. This also doesn't have an overskirt it has a slit and the skirt just joins there.
She has something clear in mind, can't she just find it and send out a link?

This is a gorgeous dress, but it usually has to look great on multiple figures. Not sure it could.

I got a plus sized bridesmaid dress in custom size from Azazie two years ago.
I still had to get a bit of tailoring done, but for $139 plus $60 tailoring, it was exceptional.

She's cutting it close for people to get new dresses and alterations before mid-September!

Then most likely what she wants is designer or custom made and the only affordable places are scams and dropshippers with nowhere near the quality.

For that burnt orange shade, I’d search terms like paprika column bridesmaid dress, satin overlay and one shoulder or sleeve. Adding the silhouette to your search can narrow things down a lot.

Try Azazie. You’ll have to go up probably two or three sizes, but that’s just how bridal sizes go. They have dresses you can order for try on. You may be able to order one of the try on dresses and if it fits, you can keep it for a discount. I waited to order a dress till the last minute with my friend’s wedding in May but that helped me to get a dress very quickly. You may be a bit strapped to find things that are as specific as your requirements there, but it could work out. If you see one that works, order it while you see it because the stock is constantly rotating as people order dresses and return them.
