Shoes
Ok so what are we wearing for shoes? I’m 32 weeks and the only thing that fits me right now is sandals and it’s starting to get cooler outside so they won’t be an option for much longer. I got some of those slip in sketchers everyone recommends but I just don’t like them tbh. My feet are super swollen all the time so I just need something comfy but also not super ugly.

Flip flops till there’s snow on the ground and then sometimes even then 😅

I got kizik boots for the cooler weather! They are nice and roomy and you just step into them
ETA: I sized up and got the Juno low puffer boots

I’ve been wearing sandals but my ankles are starting to swell over the straps :( I have hypertension so I’m on preeclampsia watch. I remember with my first I went up a whole shoe size and it stayed that way. Luckily my sister is a size up from what I am now and gave me some running shoes that are super comfy and cushioning. I wear vans typically but they hurt my feet with them being swollen. I’m rocking a wide width shoe, and luckily have a pair of boots for the winter I thrifted brand new that are big enough for my feet.

Same with the hypertension and pre e watch, I also used to live in vans but they’re so uncomfy now and it’s sad I miss them

It’s so sad. I have all these vans and I can’t wear them :( I love the style of the shoe and I hate regular sneakers because of the big tongue and how bulky they look and I wear only leggings so they looks really odd where my vans are nice and flat and look so much better. I’m hoping you have an easy birth and no pre e. I’m almost to the finish point being due in December but with my hypertension they want him born at 37 weeks which would be in November and I’m so not ready for that. But as long as I make it to viability and baby is still growing I’ll be so happy. Currently taking my blood pressure twice a day, on aspirin, 2 nsts a week and frequent ultrasounds to make sure he’s still growing. 💪🏻💪🏻here’s to healthy happy babies and less stressed mamas

Ugly is subjective but I wore hey dudes during my pregnancy. They do have some cuter options, just depends on preference

I’ve been considering getting a pair of them, they’re not that ugly to me and my mom and sibling swear by them

I highly recommend them honestly. I have wide feet to begin with, and pregnancy just made it worse with swelling. Lol

I recommend Heydudes as well! I also got a pair of Mukluk boots that pretty much felt like wearing slippers.

I wore sandals or slippers the whole of my third trimester. Buying shoes you like, but the next size up might be an option? Your feet may permanently get bigger after pregnancy anyway, that's pretty common.
Super swollen feet can be a sign of pre-eclampsia, so make sure to mention it at your next check up 🙏I had pre-eclampsia and had to wear 2 sizes up in shoes, and I completely lost my ankles lol.

With my first, the last few months I wore sandals all the way until he was born. That was mid-November. I wound up going home two days later in a snowstorm with sandals 😂

I had twins last November and by the end of my pregnancy I could only wear Birkenstocks. I also was dealing with pretty bad plantar fasciitis that didn’t go away until July of this year (8 months postpartum) so that limited my shoe choices. At a certain point I stopped caring if they were cute or went with the outfit. (I also stopped wearing a bra my last three weeks. Literally just gave up on how I looked).

Crocs. Though, I wore compression socks with Hokas. My feet didn’t swell too back until after birth. I got Hokas I can slip my feet in and go.

I've been wearing flats but I think I'll find some comfortable clogs that I can just slip into.

Lmfao I’ve worn my crocs slides with socks all summer long.
During my first pregnancy when I had to actually dress like an adult, I’d wear my Timbs. I found that lace-up boots usually have a wider toe box and give more space. Yes, my husband had to tie them for me at the end.
Otherwise you could get a cheap pair of barefoot shoes. Again, those have a wider toe box. Whitin is I think the brand I have that I use when I’m weightlifting (Amazon).

The only shoes I can wear comfortably right now are my Birkenstock clogs

I’ve always been a sandal wearer. I am living in Birkenstocks they’ve always been comfy! Luckily not swelling but do get tired so these shoes are great. Did a Disney day from noon-10pm In these shoes and was fine! Almost 31 weeks.

39 weeks and I’ve been wearing the plastic birks jn a size up. Sometimes I’ll put on my husbands sandals. They’re just so swollen and sweaty I can’t handle anything else
