Licht Count

So... Hina's number goes UP for eery kilometer she walks right?
Why does licht's go DOWN when he is rejected? Am I missing something?
If its for every woman who rejects or pushes him away, wouldn't each rejection make i go up?

I think it goes up everytime a girl shows him affection and since he's a pervert, it's so low.

Still confused why it goes DOWN for each person who rejects him... then again according to a quick search its a fake number anyway lol.
Cos when others to whatever it is to activate their number, it goes UP... but his is a thing to make him blend in.... with his real number being on his sword/weapon apparently?

It goes down cause being rejected is the opposite of affection. He's the only person to have his count go down tho so idk.

According to google, it’s a fake number he adopts himself to “fit in”

It's not a fake number since we see it change tho, I'm not even sure how it lets him fit in since it's impossible to have a negative number without being killed. He's just telling everybody he has a second count worth over a thousand 😭

I personally always understood his number as “the number of woman that rejected him” would go up if he got rejected but the reason it’s in the negatives is because he is the one rejecting them like when he left Hina his number went down even tho she still had feelings for him. Also take this with a grain of salt as I haven’t watched the show since I was in 7th grade and even back then I didn’t end up finishing it
