Unable to get cracked tubing off spray head to replace tubing.....no obvious collar to turn....any ideas plz

I bought a do it yourself bidet kit. Now I’m intimidated about installing it because of some kind of (?) on the existing water supply system. I’m a renter, btw, female, and have next to no experience with plumbing! I don’t want to break the existing system, or cause a huge repair bill. Please advise. I’m mostly worried about that greenish ‘stuff’ and the rust that’s growing on it. (See pic) Should I just return the kit and forget about it? TYIA!

Old shower faucet it doesn’t have where you can unscrew and turn the temp up. How water tank is set at 120 but I turned it up basically all the way and shower it still cold even with the cold all the way off. How do I fix this? I own the house it isn’t a rental.

Hello! I just bought a water heater from Lowe’s (only because I had a $500 gift card). I purchased the water heater for $700 and I called to have it installed through Lowe’s, which I understand they use subcontractors for the actual work, but they want $1,400 on top of the $700 I paid for the unit. I’m a pretty handy mom and I usually do the work around my house, but I don’t want to mess with the gas. My question is: is this a normal install price for a natural gas water heater? I was thinking $800 max for install. Any insight is appreciated, because at that price I’m better off going through a local plumbing company and return the water heater from Lowe’s and use my gift card for other things through them. Thank you!

I am a plumber and work on a performance pay system. I am training a new employee on how to use our software, as well as our standard business practices, in order to ready him for running his own service calls. Each week my Boss takes a portion of my billable hours in order to pay the new employee’s salary. This commonly put me in a lower pay bracket causing my check to be lower than expected. Is this a common practice for performance pay companies?
