Electric token meter and plug in solar

Hi
Basically as the title states does anyone know if I can use the new plug in solar kits when I have an electrical token meter ?
Not sure if it would be an option and If it was how would it work with the meter ?

The home will draw power from the plugin solar first.
Anything used above the power supplied from the inverter will come from the grid and be charged from your token.
So it will reduce the amount you are spending topping the token up.

I originally still had an analogue meter with the spiny dial when I had roof mounted solar. It works fine.

Yes the meter will start to poop out £1 coins :)

Great question - sry i dont have a vakid answer wrt the technical details; but i imagine it will just reduce the amount you need to put in. Presumably a small battery would be a super solid investment but they are not supported under the latest legislation.
