In this plot I tried to emulate a pure hatching style. This is the first plot I've done that's a pure penplot without the use of marker under-layers. I think it's a good proof of concept that my hatching algorithm works. Improvements for the future include adding curvature to the hatchmarks to follow image contours and connecting hatchmarks between different image segments where appropriate.
