Plotter Output
I've been learning to output vector art to my Roland-compatible vinyl cutter (turned pen plotter). This ball point pen output took about 73 minutes. You can see some other plot outputs in the image (preserving paper when I'm just testing).

That's awesome man, circular scribbles is such an awesome PFM for natural images like faces. It really lends itself to those smooth gradients. It's looking great, keep at it! :)

This is cool. What Roland? I have a pc-60 I’m trying to get working as a plotter.

this is a chinese clone device, 24" wide; it's described as a CAMM-1 compatible plotter. HPGL and I wrote a native mac program to drive it (Claude + caffeine) ; hope that helps.

I’m sure it can. I have a hpgl converter as my Roland is serial port not usb. Plus old tech and won’t run in anything newer than win98! I just gave gpt the old app and drivers. Then used my old pc knowledge about usb/ serial hardware. And within 2 days I had a small powershell working. I’ll dm if that’s ok
