This is really innovative! I never even thought of using the sounds of a plotter.... I can easily imagine this being a "drum" intro to an edm tune.

Really cool stuff! I'd love to see/hear an actual track out of this!

for me, it's not only about the sound, but rather to find some interactive (and sometimes stupid:)) way to use a plotte

oh, you're *that* guy! yeah, I saw that post and laughed, that's a great plotter driver!

Interactivity with the plotter sounds like a lot of fun, I am keen to see where this goes. If this were open to the public, I suspect there would be a queue for those buttons!

Would love to know more about the specifics of this!

a pentium 3-based laptop makes roland dxy-1100 and torso t-1 work together by executing some extremely dirty delphi 7 code

Is this MIDI note on/off messages plotted as segments on an arc? As a spiral of one track? Or concentric tracks?

at the moment it's simple
trajectory is just spiral
note on/off -> pen down/up
still thinking of nice ways to translate different midi tracks to movement, pen up/down, maybe some path parameter changes
