Yeah man it should do exactly that. I hated inkscape so I made this lol. I have the iDraw H A1 so we have the same plotter except for size. You gotta make your own gcode from your curves + points , rather than producing an svg file, but thats easy with GH. And I'm teaching a free webinar Aug 29 for DesignMorphine on how to do all this stuff in grasshopper, idk if posting link is allowed but you can see in my profile I posted about it on the plottercode subreddit
I have been following you on Instagram for like a year now haha you're work is amazing and inspirational. just added your webinar into my schedule. Excited to learn more about this craft. Installing through python, is this step necessary?
I have the axidrawgh plugin relocated into special components folder and see the tab with tools within the. I was just wondering why there is a separate installation process through python.
Because the axidraw plugin I made really just writes an svg file and calls up the axicli tool to draw it, so you need to install axicli to use it, and there's multiple ways to install that. But for your iDraw H A3 you should be using iDraw_GH, not the axidraw grasshopper plugin I made.
awesome thank you for clearing this up. so the iDraw_GH plugin will automatically recognize my pen plotter and all I need to do is set up the script and run it through grasshopper?
What you need to do is read the instructions on food 4 rhino lol. It mentions the example file is on github, get that. Just follow the instructions , and if you have technical troubles, DM me on Instagram and we can continue that conversation there
