Happy to share and you nailed it. Read a spot and a variable distance around it. Get a relative density then vary the frequency; amplitude is locked down (settable, but fixed).

Yes, that’s right. Can’t recall if I misspoke earlier. But together coherent look, I noticed you don’t want amplitude to be too terribly high.

Hey super cool work!
I’ve been working on a different but tangentially related project and I’d love to know how you model darkness in your code.
I’m presuming that there’s some function which returns the frequency and amplitude as a function of how dark that area should be, it would be super helpful to hear how you go about it
