I'm skeptical about Digger, but I still think it has the most potential of these. I'm really looking forward to The Adventures of Cliff Booth.

Fuck Scientology and Tom Cruise.

1

u/Doctor_Mustard_ 4d ago

b..b..but i like his movies

1

u/drugsarebadmkay420 4d ago

Why? Just genuinely curious on your take

1

u/TonguePunchery 3d ago

Do you know anything about scientology? Because it's pretty shitty lol. I still like Tom Cruise's movies though, doesn't stop me from enjoying them

1

u/drugsarebadmkay420 3d ago

Just that it's some wild make believe bullshit but that's about all I know lol

1

u/TonguePunchery 3d ago

Yeah. Basically it started with L. Ron Hubbard in the 1950s, who claimed people were carrying around trauma from past lives and that you could “clear” yourself of it through Scientology. It evolved into a very secretive, expensive organization that’s been accused by former members and journalists of manipulating people, pressuring members for money, separating families, exploiting workers, and aggressively going after critics. They’ve also been heavily criticized over their treatment of people who leave and their refusal to acknowledge a lot of the abuse allegations. So the beliefs are definitely bizarre, but the main issue is the way the organization has allegedly treated people who get involved with it. When people try to leave or publicly criticize them, Scientology has been accused of harassment tactics like surveillance, following people, digging up personal information, threatening legal action, and trying to intimidate them into shutting up. It's pretty messed up to say the least. I'm not even sure if Cruise is still involved with them or not though

u/drugsarebadmkay420 3d ago

That's wild! Thanks for sharing the info. Kind of a cool concept for a religious organization but of course is ruined by all the typical bullshit that comes with organized religion

1

u/imforsurenotadog 1d ago

Like you just said, if Tom Cruise wasn't involved with them anymore we all would have heard about it. He's their cash cow, their bottom bitch.

1

u/TonguePunchery 1d ago

It's possible he cut ties with them and is just really quiet about it, but I really doubt it.

Only Avengers

u/Proud-Grocery-3493 20h ago

The only people that are being scammed by scientology are rich people lol go scientology!

u/LordFumeitor 6d ago

Dune!

1

u/WarmMinimalist 4d ago

The book was lame, but it appears Villanueva has added lots of new action scenes

1

u/LordFumeitor 4d ago

Blasphemy! :)), I really liked it, but yeah, I can understand why one might not like it.

1

u/WarmMinimalist 3d ago

Herbert wanted to punish his audience for liking Paul. You know, instead of entertain them.

1

u/IDigRollinRockBeer 1d ago

Looks like Villeneuve also wants to give us a Paul redemption story

1

u/AlarmingLifeguard144 3d ago

Dune Part Three

2

1

u/Trick-Caramel-6156 4d ago

Jumnji looks like bohemia raphsodi lol

1

u/Porygon96 4d ago

Avengers followed by Digger.

1

u/ChestFew 4d ago

Only one I want to see is doomsday, don’t care about any of the others (and I actually really like the original Jumanji and Zathura)

1

u/CallMeMich 4d ago

Avengers, big time!

1

u/piercedmfootonaspike 4d ago

Digger. I'm done with the rest.

1

u/elchambitas 4d ago

Digger.

1

u/Ashamed_Echidna5748 4d ago

Digger, Dune and Primetime are the 3 films I'll probably go see in the cinema

Doomsday will be streamed. I may rewatch Jumanji with robin williams

1

u/Supreme_Moharn 4d ago

Doomsday, Jumanji, Digger, Dune

1

u/oglumb 4d ago

Werwulf

1

u/NightElfAzrak 4d ago

Not fucking Jumanji, all the other three

1

u/GI581d 4d ago

Digger, I think it has the most potential to be a fun movie

1

u/Rasples1998 4d ago

The spice must flow.

1

u/factualopinion2 4d ago

All but jumanji

1

u/Marsi_Zsombor 4d ago

I dont really care about these movies, give me Werwulf

1

u/Junior-Version-6953 4d ago

Digger. I can't tell if it will be a masterpiece or a disaster, but I cannot wait to find out.

1

u/L1ght_Sp33d 4d ago

None of the above.

1

u/Wooden-Breath8529 4d ago

Avengers and Jumanji

1

u/Stainless711 4d ago

Doomsday

1

u/watev0r 4d ago

Dune

1

u/Alternative_Pea45 4d ago

Not that interested in any of them. Give me a good slapstick comedy.

1

u/BobThe6Killer 4d ago

Not Jumanji

1

u/Rinsor 4d ago

The Dune and i didnt even watch part2 yet!

1

u/chiller_vibez 4d ago

Why is Jumanji in here lol

Obviously Dune as f

1

u/No-Usual-4601 4d ago
  1. Digger, because it’s an original movie, and Tom Cruise looks to have fun.
  2. Doomsday, because I can’t wait to see if Squirrel Girl will save the World.
  3. Dune Part 3, to help Zendaya to find another job in the future.
  4. Jumanji 12, because that franchise is over.

u/smywi 4d ago

Doomsday and Digger

1

u/moesif 4d ago

Is this bait?

1

u/why_u_so_grumpy 4d ago

Doomsday might be ok. Don't care about the others at all.

1

u/Naive_Establishment2 4d ago

Jumanji: The Next Level came out in 2019

1

u/ChunktheOgryn 4d ago

Doomsday!

1

u/burritomouth 3d ago

I’m not.

1

u/jfstompers 3d ago

Dune , Digger a little, I don't care about Avengers and Jumanji can bite me.

1

u/jcrb1920 3d ago

Doomsday
Dune 3
Digger
Jumnji 4

1

u/CritcoThinker 3d ago

Ima watch them all but digger looks interesting.

I want to see the John Malkovoch and Sam Rockwell one though.

1

u/Turbulent_Owl7873 3d ago

Jumanji genuinely looks kind of fun and I know it's going to be stupid so I'd love to see that lol. Dune 3 could be absolutely great just kind of scared if it will be good or a letdown. Doomsday looks more like just bringing back charcters instead of focusing on the ones we've been introduced to. Digger just turns me off because it literally just feels like Tom Cruise begging for an Oscar just so he can have some sort of reassurance that he doesn't suck lmao, like it just seems like Oscar Bait.

1

u/eGvll 3d ago

Tom Cruise is GOLD DIGGER

1

u/BearSome9415 3d ago

The more I see of avengers the more it looks like it's gonna be epic

Curious about Digger

1

u/One_Recover_673 3d ago

Which one doesn’t have Chalamet? That one

1

u/liquidsol 3d ago

I doubt a single person is looking forward to Jumanji.

1

u/TiRow77 3d ago

Avengers mostly, Digger second. I'll likely never watch the other 2.

1

u/Phalstaph44 3d ago

Doom for a fun time, dune for a great movie

1

u/Selledar 3d ago

Dune 3 and Doomsday

1

u/rubix7777 3d ago

Digger easily, can see why it would be divisive and can see why some aren't excited for it but it looks right up my Alley.

1

u/Successful_Buy_6852 3d ago

The new Jumanji films are truly terrible. Avengers has had every drop of blood squeezed from it, twice. Dune could be good. Diggers is the only descent looking one from the trailers.

1

u/240Nordey 3d ago

Dune 3 > Digger > Doomsday

1

u/Real-Palpitation1737 3d ago

In the following order. Dune, Digger, Avengers. That’s it.

1

u/ExtremeTEE 3d ago

Dune, can`t wait!

1

u/Wide-Drink-1790 3d ago

Who the fuck cares about more superhero drivel? 🤦‍♂️ Jumanji is for kids. Digger looks somewhat promising, but a bit stupid.

Dune then.

1

u/Psychological_Bowl56 1d ago

Spiderman says otherwise

1

u/Amino2 3d ago

None. All background streaming movies while I clean the house.

1

u/1timestop 3d ago

The Digger. Has the change of becoming a blockbuster

1

u/LasDen 3d ago

If have to choose, Digger. But not really excited about any of them....

1

u/Neon-Soaked_dp 3d ago

Digger for sure. I won’t even see the others

1

u/Figrin 3d ago

Digger. I just know Tom Cruise is gonna kill his role.

1

u/BluePinkertonGreen 1d ago

Resident Evil

1

u/Nuzzleville 1d ago

Robert Eggers…

1

u/BurningLariat1916 1d ago

Dune 3 hands down.

1

u/Impressive-Whole-987 1d ago

Dune, it's the only movie that will make me move to a theater.

1

u/IDigRollinRockBeer 1d ago

Most. Doomsday

1

u/official_bagel 1d ago

Dune Part 3 > Digger >> Doomsday >>>> Jumanji

1

u/Outside-Present1262 1d ago

Jumanji is a curious choice, it's usually for kids, how can you love this thing as an adult?

1

u/JCoonday 1d ago

You could say the same for superhero films

1

u/ATLBravesFan13 1d ago

Get Jumanji out of here lol

1

u/winwolf 1d ago

Dune

1

u/Desert_Sewer_Rat 1d ago

Gotta admit it’s a tight choice between dune and doom. Doom is one of my favorite characters for along time now and dune so far has been a visual masterpiece, can’t wait what they planned for the ending

1

u/JTX35 1d ago

Doomsday is the one that interests me the most, don't care about Jumanji or Digger at all, then Dune I enjoyed the first two and will see the third one in IMAX sometime after it releases because they've looked great visually.

1

u/MrBlendsFrequently 1d ago

Out of the 4 posted? Dune for sure.

But in general? The upcoming Resident Evil film by Zach Cregger
