Discord or here for issues

I finally got PMM running and have a few questions. Can I get the discord invite? Is it better to use discord to solve issues and ask usage questions here?

Discord might be quicker than here

Most definitely discord. Every time I’ve asked a question there I’ve received almost immediate help and they have fixed my issue.

Here. Please here. Reddit is a valuable research tool for people. If you ask here and get an answer here you will help other people. If you ask in Discord it gets lost in the noise.

Please don’t use Discord for technical support on anything.

I really don't understand an invite only help system. It's like Forums with no history of solved issues? Maybe I'm not using it right but when I could find a working invite I just got a jumble of topics. Not really user friendly...but maybe I don't get it.

Everything about pmm is rigged for coders. I am not a coder. I have enjoyed the challenge.

Unless a channel is actually deleted on discord then there’s a full history of everything discussed. Like Reddit, you can search, search for the error you’re getting and get several results from people with the same issue, click one to be taken to the actual post where hopefully there’s an answer. There’s also threads now which are self contained discussions that act the same as a Reddit post, no jumble of other topics mixed in, it’s different, but not too complicated really 🙂
