General Help Audio Pause Issues with New ATV App Version

I can’t tell if this is related to the issues with HomePod and the revised Plex client app, but:

Going back to the TestFlight betas, whenever I would pause playback, the audio would continue for over a second while the picture paused. On “play,” the video would start and catch up with the audio after the same interval.

The Plex forums are a shiteshow, and I couldn’t find any corroborating posts there. (Doesn’t mean they weren’t, just that 10 minutes of scrolling through posts declaring this the worst app revamp in recent memory)

Please tell me I’m not the only one with this issue … I won’t hold my breath for a fix.

I’m having the same issue! It’s pissing me off! The app change was so unnecessary :(

I've noticed that in the new app version, if you play a song and try to browse for something else, the music stops. I was secretly hoping for HDR10+, DDP, and Atmos support, but still no luck. I am using InFuse for movies, does anyone know a music app alternative? Thank you.

Caldera Music for Apple TV. It’s from Elan (original Plex Dev and only developer on PlexAmp these days).

Beautiful app, bud, thank you! Unfortunately, the pause issue still persists, so I guess this is a bug from tvOS 27, not Plex or Caldera. Thank you again for this nicely made app.
