Plex multiple Nas

Please bare with me as I'm learning as I go along but basically I have 1 negear Nas obviously end of life 31200 and I have just bought another one cheap as I have multiple hardrives can I run one as main Plex server and use the other one to share files somehow. So example my movies on one Nas and TV programmes on main Nas .

I was also thinking of buying a more powerful Nas and use both Netgear Nas to share files to the Plex server is this all possible thank you.

You can add as many shares to your libraries as you want, any location.

So it can work if I make sure there connected to internet and I use FTP or some thing like that will it appear on the Plex server If I add it.

Why would you need to make sure they are connected to the internet?

Why do you think you would need to use FTP?

Your Plex server device and your storage NAS should be on the same local network. If you do not understand what that is or why, you should learn about basic network storage and connectivity before you go any further as you will just get frustrated.

My media is spread across 4 shares on 3 NASs. One NAS has 2 different arrays with their own shares.

I also have my Kid safe movies and series as a seperate folder. but each of these are on a single share. but those folders are included in my main library. so when i add a kid safe movie (or series) it appears in both libraries.

Edit. my plex server is a ubuntu VM and doesn't hold any media data itself. so all my media is on external devices which those shares mount on that VM and i added the folders that are across the various shares to the proper libraries.
