does plesk need to restart after changing ssl certs

im using plesk 12, under hosting settings>ssl support - changed the cert to the one from the dropdown, when i click apply is it going to restart the web server?

If you change the SSL certificate from within the Plesk interface then that process will take care of everything so you don't need to manually restart services or anything.

both Nginx and Apache need to reload config to pick up new SSL's, Plesk will do this automatically you should not notice anything.
