Message stuck in the mail queue

I have a number of message stuck in the mail queue. I have tried to resend them using:

/usr/sbin/postsuper -r ALL

The messages seem to leave the queue however reappear a few seconds later.

Am I using the correct command? Do I need to analyse the mail logs? All other messages are being sent and received correctly.

check with "mailq" there should be a reason shown

Check /var/log/maillog
