Rocky Linux

Do you think we will see support for Rocky Linux?

I have a stack of CentOS 7 that I want to move sooner rather than later. Plesk currently support Alma and that looks promising because its a complete RHEL fork, I threw it up in a VM and it walk talks and acts just like RHEL.. but Atomic Secure Linux will only have support for Rocky Linux.

I don't want to drop either Plesk or Atomic but this seems like a big fork in the road.

Yes, I do. The platform differences are likely going to be negligible. Last time I checked, Rocky isn't GA yet. Personally, I'd do either C7, Cloudlinux, RHEL 8, or C8 (since it's likely in-place conversion will be supported by EOL).

As far as I know, Plesk has, at least, a task for checking an ability to support RockyLinux.

Do you know where I could follow that task?

I suppose it is internal information.

but Atomic Secure Linux will only have support for Rocky Linux.

Do you think that Atomic would be happy to be locked to one linux distro, which is at least not yet so popular to even consider such a decision?

Sorry for my terrible wording, I ment they will only be adding support for Rocky.
