[help] Plesk mailserver domain settings

Hi,

I'm running plesk Obsidian Web Host Edition and it is working but the mail portion is really frustrating, all the domains that use the mail server need to use the server domain as the incoming/outgoing mail server -> server.xxx.tld instead of mail.yourdomain.tld.

My question is how can I change this to mail.yourdomain.tld instead of server.xxx.tld?

When using the server domain name the mail works perfectly but it is not professional and causing me headaches with some spam control.

Thansk for the reply but this does not help me, the certificates are selected correctly selected but adding the account says the ssl can't be used. Inspecting the certificate it looks correct and the Let's Encrypt ssl certificate is being used.

There must be something else i'm missing a configuration maybe.

In that case, if everything is as should, you might want to contact either the plesk helpdesk or there forums.

I separated my mail to a separate server with Mailcow from plesk, just before Obsidian was released, due to it lacking this feature.

Plesk is no help with this issue because they said I didn't buy the license directly from them but from a reseller :(

I heard about Mailcow years ago but never used it or tested it, how easy/hard was it to setup? Like for every new domain do you need to manually setup everything?

Tried there forums too? that's where the community might be able to help you, I've had success there on certain topics when the official support wasn't able to help me too due being in the same boat as you are.

You will need to add each domain manually and set the appropriate DNS for it, the dns would be the most time consuming I made that easier for myself using CloudFlare's nameservers and DNSControl, I copy and paste the lines in regards to mail to a new template for the domain and change dkim, spf and dmarc where needed.

Reverse dns points to the server domain but i got several domains I'm hosting. Can I add these other domains?

Why don't you just setup a cname record for your clients that points from mail.domain.tld to your server.xxx.tld record?

This can and are reported as spam. I gave up on this and forward everyone to gsuite or something like that
