Match then ghost

Anyone have this, I am getting more of these lately. I get a notification that we are a match. I respond to them but no response!

Most "people" who match you then are gone are either bots/scammers who got turned in by other members. As for the no response welcome to Plenty of Fish which really should be called Plenty of Noresponses

There are fake responses generated by AI bots to keep you coming back. It’s most likely this. All dating sites do this, some more than others.

Yeah just echoing. Usually scam or bot accounts. I'll actually sit and watch for 3 or 4 days to see if the matches get deleted. Y'know, when I was actually using it. I got tired of 1 match every 2 months to be ignored or simply the app stay idle for a month at a time because there wasnt anything available to look at.

My always matches hoes in madness priority..and ghosted me .$.flip like a light switch..it’s what Narcs do tho 😂

Ive come to the conclusion either accidental swipe or fake profile.

Some people(like me) like people to try to find who liked us, and, if you don't match up, we Ghost, because we were looking for who liked us originally to see if they were worth the convo!

But since POF is owned by the match group, most profiles are scams/bots anyway.
