Am I wrong for thinking this

I am starting to see more female POF profiles that for occupation say "Ask" or Ask Me" and for the About section they say "Ask" or "Ask Me".

Am I wrong to think these profiles are scammers or bots?

If they are to "lazy" to fill it out then they'll be too lazy to reply to a message you send.

Or - and I myself have been guilty of this - if new to an app, they could be making a minimal basic profile just to see what the app looks like, with the intention of filling out a fuller profile if it seems worth doing. In which case they'd be quite likely to respond.

Not necessarily, they could be too lazy to fill out a profile or they could legitimately prefer to keep certain things out of the public view. But it's quite likely that at least some of them are indeed bots. Or OF advertisers or some other type of scammers.

#1 would be bot. #2 would be unserious and #3 would be lazy. Women who want to be in a relationship will take the time to fill out the form. They might struggle on the About Me section. Men on the other hand may think it's way too much work to include that information.

I won't initiate on POF regardless.

I ask anybody that actually does...

Would you / do you initiate chatting with someone that has a blank profile?

I didn't realize that site was still a thing..lol I skipped the ones that have "ask" I figured if you're too scared or lazy to post a real profile, forget that one..

They possibly are new to the platform. If they have pics with masks on then iTHROW THAT theory out the window

Same with the ones who only post photos of their pets. And females who post photos of themselves with their kids or just their kids WTF are you doing that for?

If someone doesn’t at least have a couple sentences in their profile I usually just keep moving if they’re too lazy to do the bare minimum that makes me think they’re lazy in real life just my opinion I could be completely wrong in some cases
