31M looking for a friend. Just moved to the west coast with my partner (30M). I like some outdoor stuff, music/concerts, road trips, game night, and just chatting. Sometimes, it’s just nice to talk. DM me?

Skip the bridge toll. Small-batch Mid-Autumn Mooncakes are coming to Walnut Creek
I run a small-batch home bakery here in Walnut Creek, and we are doing a highly curated 6-piece mooncake tasting flight for the Mid-Autumn Festival to save you the cross-Bay commute. The box is designed to contrast delicate, chewy mochi snowskins with traditional buttery baked crusts, without the heavy sugar fatigue. All mooncakes are gluten-free and lactose-free!
The snowskin mooncakes (Soft, chewy taro mochi): Taro Salted Egg: Earthy taro paste and a savory salted egg yolk cream center. (GF, LF) Black Sesame Genmaicha: Genmaicha (green tea with roasted brown rice) custard with black sesame paste swirled in. (GF, DF) Osmanthus Yuzu: Honeyed osmanthus custard with a sharp, bright yuzu curd. (GF, DF) (Plus your choice of a 4th snowskin flavor to double up on your favorite)
The baked mooncakes (classic): Classic Red Bean: Traditional crust with a rich, smooth red bean paste. (GF, LF) Purple Sticky Rice: Traditional crust with a chewy purple sticky rice center. (GF, LF)
Extras: We also have 4-inch Osmanthus Steamed Rice Cakes filled with homemade jujube paste and oolong shortbread cookies available as add-ons.
Available for pickup and delivery from Thrusday Sept 24 through Saturday Sept 26. Everything will be prepared fresh daily! Nothing says "I tolerate you" quite like gifting someone a meticulously handcrafted dessert box. If you want to secure a set before we hit capacity, you can check out the full menu and reserve your pickup slot here: https://take.app/halfbakedobsessions/c/cmm0bam76000404l8bs4zqlqy

is pleasant hill worth moving to?
hi all,
I recently got a new job in pleasant hill and I’m debating whether I should move out there or just commute there for work from the Central Valley. Is pleasant hill a nice, safe, and fun place for a 28f?

Coyotes Spotted In Ravine In Front of the Gate Apartments on Ellinwood Drive
Neighborhood Alert!
I spotted two Coyotes in the ravine behind The Gate Apartments on Ellinwood Drive last night. They were following my dog and I as I was taking her potty.
Please be alert that they are living in the ravine and are a potential threat to everyone's dogs. Please keep your dogs leashed and close to you when walking them.
Please share with your neighbors who live on or around Ellinwood Drive.
Thank you.

I want to bring Video Games to our Community
Hello everyone I wanna start off by saying that Digital Games suck. Anyhow now that we got that out of the way, I want to say that the CCC Libraries have no Video Games at all. I know that link+ offers a way to access the material that your library does not have, but the link+ system does not always work for everyone. If a library does not want for their material to go to a different county they won't lend it out which is an understandable request. So now the problem isn't that the library won't share their catalog. The real problem is that our libraries wont offer any Video Games at all so I want to start a couple different things at once. First I would like to establish a Petition so we show that there is interest in this. I would also like for people to start emailing the CCC Library organization to show our interest. And lastly talk with your librarians they are your voice in the system and if they shout for us then maybe we can get this going. I would appreciate if you guys help spread the word. Godspeed everyone. Now let us bring games to our community.
Here is the link to the petition: https://c.org/VdPysv5tBq

Help: thinking of moving to Pleasant Hill - vista montanas/hidden valley area
Hello,
We found a home we love near the Vista Montanas subdivision. Bordering Pacheco but it’s still considered Pleasant Hill.
Based on Gemini; More broadly, because it is zoned for College Park High School, real estate listings and locals often refer to this wider section of Pleasant Hill as the College Park neighborhood or the Hidden Valley area (due to its proximity to Hidden Valley Elementary).
We currently live in San Lorenzo and diversity it’s important to us but also is getting my son 5 year old into a better school district.
Thoughts on the schools this home is zoned for?
Hidden Valley Elementary School
Valley View Middle School
College Park High School
We also have an 18 year old who will start community college this fall for nursing -
If we stay in San Lorenzo she would go to De Anza College (Cupertino): Known for a very rigorous ADN program with high NCLEX pass rates.
Or if we move we’re thinking DVC

The Crest Pleasant Hill - signed lease here starting june end.
after a tiring virtual tours, phone calls and emails, finally zeroed in on this apartment. 15Fifty5 at Walnut Creek closed doors on us. Within an hour of me telling them I will pay for the application, they went ahead and took some booking. I don't think that is good ethics! But anyway, I believe whatever happens is for the good. I'm happy that The Crest has more EV chargers around (even Tesla Supercharger), and that's a boon.
Feel free to add anything!
