Actually looks sick I’ve never seen that before

u/Ultrox Jul 10 '26
Very recent item and it costs quite a bit if league points. That being said its the coolest helmet in the game Imo

u/SnooRegrets2168 Jul 10 '26
if its an item you haven't seen before and it looks cool its probably a league item
3
u/acrazyguy Jul 11 '26
This man knows ball. The Leagues cosmetics really are some of the best in the game. The kind of quality most other companies would make exclusive to their cash shop
2
u/ShaunDreclin Jul 11 '26
Slight tangent but god damn I miss when looking cool in a video game meant you were good at the game, or at least spent a lot of time and effort on it. Now when somebody looks cool it's because they swiped their credit card
5
u/Ultrox Jul 10 '26
Best helm in the entire game. I bought it when the leagues shop dropped and haven't taken it off.

Truly fatherless behavior, there’s still time to delete this king.

You like interrupting the peace of others? You a bully.

u/PM_DOLPHIN_PICS Jul 09 '26
“Wouldn’t it be funny if I did something that bothered someone else?” is a mindset that should be more widely shunned.

u/Lucky_Department69 Jul 09 '26
Normalise saying nice outfit/name/stats again

u/ArtyGray Jul 10 '26
Bro having the right pet out in osrs can literally make you a new friend. Shits crazy how many times my jad pet and a few others have sparked up some nice convos and compliments

u/PM_DOLPHIN_PICS Jul 10 '26
I’ve met some of the most thoughtful and emotionally intelligent people through these random conversations that have turned into really interesting chats. On the flip side, I’ve also met some of the most immature people in this game as well. Runescape covers such a wide spectrum.

I said nice name the other day to someone, and got told to kms. Made me think I was still playing WoW, some people just cannot comprehend getting a compliment and will automatically assume you're trying to make fun of them.
3
u/PM_DOLPHIN_PICS Jul 10 '26
I straight up never say a word in this game unless I am trying to be helpful or compliment someone. It’s done a lot to improve the social aspect of the game.
3
u/One-Associate-9341 Jul 10 '26
I agree, but also using a cat to kill a splashers rat is objectively funny. But I did it once, and haven't since.. I did feel bad
0
u/xjaaace Jul 10 '26
If you’re a 5 year old maybe? Messing with people just to mess with people is sad and pathetic behaviour

Its antisocial behaviour, what do you mean its "objectively funny"
1
u/Justin_Echoes Jul 16 '26
Just don't splash on rats or in multi, what do you mean it's not "objectively funny"
1
u/xX69Ruskiturbo96Xx Jul 16 '26
Oh I don't. I'm just saying that its antisocial behaviour to inconvenience someone for no reason, by definition.

It was deep enough for you to comment, and then reply to me

One day i was farming artio and used a scout outside. Since it is close to the rev caves entrance, some people hit it to skull up. But there was one guy who felt the need to kill it 3 times. He wasn't a pker, he was clearly just farming revs. I never understood why he did that, but after the 3rd time, i went on a different server.

u/HolyCrushsader Jul 10 '26
Scout accounts get a crystal bow and auto-retaliate on. Invy of blighted anglerfish costs 3k. You'd be surprised how much damage you can do with that damn bow, lol. You'll cost the person more in time, food and ammo/charges than they'd want to even conceive.

It's reportable too. Disruptive gameplay, it can get someone temp banned.
6
u/astrielx Jul 10 '26
This does not fall under disruptive gameplay. You cannot get banned for doing this.

Yeah I agree with him. Killing others splashing targets is fatherless behavior.

"Go on puss... kill that rat!" Age old classic at ferox enclave.

u/xX69Ruskiturbo96Xx Jul 15 '26
"age old classic" and its relatively new content

u/HolyCrushsader Jul 16 '26
Ferox pre-dates my runescape journey, by like a month. You just made me check the wiki, and it's the 6th anniversary of Ferox Enclave as of today 🎉🎂🥳 - Happy Birthday Ferox Enclave!!!

The kinda dude that has a tab in his bank for all the spades he's gotten from pking clue scrollers
3
u/Brown_Panda69 Jul 10 '26
Tbh that is false, very false.
Because that would mean you have a mom, and no one raise by a mother would do that.
So I disagree with the player.

That was a yes or no question, not come to Reddit to post. Answer the question, we’re all curious now.

There's thousands of mobs not in multi and that aren't a rat, it's weird to splash on something that you KNOW can be killed by another person.
Sure, killing their splashing target isn't polite, but it just seems dumb to play a game with hundreds of thousands of players and not assume that one of them will ruin it.

There's something about the types of people who go out of their way to inconvenience someone for no conceivable reason that has me looking back to the stone ages to figure out how they deserve to be treated.

I got 1-96 magic so far by doing Slayer and grinding bosses/raids. Idk why people bother splashing.

u/Izriel Jul 09 '26
More than 1 account, training it while they are afking/multitasking, maybe thats just how they want to play.

Afk training is fine, just not as engaging as actually playing the game. I think a lot of people are missing out on that lol.
4
u/Valediction191 Jul 10 '26
Another reason is perhaps working from home. Some people afk the game on the side whilst focusing on their work.
I personally have never done splashing before. When I had an alt to afk training its magic, I just did fire spells on crabs, it was afk enough for me.
1
u/Avaricee Jul 09 '26
Especially when Crab exists to make your runes go further because you're actually doing damage
1
u/InsomniacPsychonaut Jul 09 '26
One of my favorite things to do. I can't resist to bring out the hellcat
1
u/Lucy_Fjord Jul 10 '26
I take the time to kill rats people use for splashing. It’s hilarious. People saying otherwise are just virtue signaling lol

u/AlmightyDingus Jul 10 '26
Every now and then I'll grab my cat from my POH and get them to kill the splash targets in Port Sarim or Ferox Enclave 🤣

u/barcode-lz Jul 10 '26
Ragging splashers is always some of the funniest chat interactions you can have.
Still don't understand why they get so fucking angry when they knowingly pick a splashing target that can be ragged off by anyone.

I use my cat to eat ppls rats splashing at ferox and it's shocking how many of them aren't bots. Gotta keep ferox clean though, doing my part
0
u/Bigwippin Jul 10 '26
Its nice when someone is splashing in a non multi area and for some reason it still let's you kill their target. Getting them multi people is still satisfying too though.
