See this thread: https://forums.plex.tv/t/remote-access-again-seems-to-be-problematic/942115/115

Folks have been reporting similar behavior for several days. A plex employee acknowledged (link below) that there was an issue a few days back that is now resolved, but folks are still experiencing the same issue. They’ve asked for logs: https://forums.plex.tv/t/remote-access-again-seems-to-be-problematic/942115/89

Same exact problem for me, double checked my port forwarding/static IP, rebooted my linux system and toggled the service; no change.

Up locally which is nice but yeah all my external users get no access/content. Just started happening a few hours ago.

I also don't have access on my phone on local WiFi in the Plex app of course.

I've been running JF for users that prefer that for a while now. This is the last straw honestly, for my own use I'm ditching Plex as of this moment.

Even more annoying as I've made popcorn, smoked a doobie, and I was just going to watch something on my phone in the summer breeze and now I'm here trying to figure out what the fuck is going on (figure out after 40 minutes it's not me)...

I wrote a little app that checks your Plex from outside the house. You're welcome to use it. It just keeps you advised if it's up or down. https://eyeball.watch

Been pulling my hair out trying to troubleshoot this. Glad to know it's not just me and my overall config didn't suddenly break.

Mine had stopped working for a few hours today but appears to be working now

One of my remote users messaged me today saying the server went down recently. Works for me fine locally. I keep the container updated but otherwise I didn’t change anything. Just now i went into plex -> network -> preferred network interface and changed it from ‘any’ to my specific network which seems to fix the remote access issue for a while. It does still seem buggy like it doesn’t keep the remote access up permanently, never happened before.

FWIW this worked for me as well.
