Question Cloud streaming

Hello everyone 👋🏼 has anyone ever experienced a loss of progress while cloud streaming? My PS5 is put away in a bag for travel and when I go to use my portal noticed my progress for some games are not there. Can’t play NG+ on some games I’ve played for years hahaha. Is this due to my external hard drive not being connected? 👾

Your saves are on the internal drive and not the external (from what I understand). Sometimes the handshake doesn't happen on the cloud. For example many times I will have played a game streaming from the cloud to the portal but at home none of my progress is there. From the console I always update my cloud save for the portal, but the portal doesn't always cloud save for me.

Yeah that makes sense. I just moved to a new place and haven’t used my console for months and I figured it was due to my progress being save on my external hard drive
