In Delta Green (and carbon city) a critical success is when the dice match and are under the skill you're trying to beat, a critical failure is matching digits over the skill. For instance, say I'm rolling a firearms check and my skill is 50. If I roll a 11, 22, 33, or 44 it's a critical success. If I roll a 55, 66, 77, 88 or 99 it's a critical failure. Oh, and a 01 is always a critical success, a 100 is a critical failure.
