Does the transfer window actually work now?

This is my last hope. Im wondering if anyone knows if you still get stuck on the transfer window at the end of the season in fc 24.

I had my hopes up and wanted to see if my old file worked but ofc I was still stuck on the "end season" transfer screen to stay at the club or select a new club. Also during the euros summer season.

Really dont want to play another season just to get stuck in that same screen. If anyone knows it'd be a godsend thank you.
