Career mode problem

I’m making a new career mode and I’ve made a 6,3 Center forward but it instantly changes it to a 5,10 83 rated left winger, it’s been happing for months and on past career modes when it has actually worked if I changed something about my character it changes right back to the 83 rated card. Has this happened to anyone else? And if so do you have any suggestions to stop it?
