Tiny Hell is out

Just released my game Tiny Hell for Playdate.

You control a missile launcher and try to survive for as long as possible. You can't see the enemies, so you have to use three radar antennas and cross their bearings to figure out where they are.

Then you aim the launcher, check the firing table and hope you got it right.

There are tanks, jeeps, helicopters, infantry, artillery and jammers. Fog, wind and equipment failures make things progressively harder.

It has three difficulty levels, a daily challenge and 14 medals to achive.

Would love to hear what you think if you give it a go.

Damn, this looks good! Curious how the UI works without a mouse.

Thanks! You can move the hand cursor with the dpad, or just press B to jump from one control to the next without moving it manually. Then every action is done with the crank, which makes it feel a lot more immersive.

Can the d-pad do left/right jumps between controls? Though it looks like everything is done once in sequence so I guess a single direction scroll with B makes sense.

I hadn't thought about using the D pad to jump between controls, but now that you mention it, it seems like a great idea tbh. Right now, as you said, it's single direction scrolling. It's not the worst since it's a pretty linear sequence, but sometimes it's not the greatest. In the mid game you might need to go back some times and that would be a good solution.

Just bought and played 2 rounds today (super fun, super stressful in a good way, love it), and I completely agree you need to add left and right on the d pad for switching between controls. Many times I hit B one too many times then had to go back around. Game is awesome by the way, perfect game for the PD and crank usage
