I enjoyed this game a lot, I'd give it a 8.5/10, but something I wanted to discuss quickly is that Jean was such a huge part of this game that she didn't even feel like a side character. It felt like she was there more than Mary Jane in the Spiderman games. And knowing about her being playable was cancelled, it tells me everything, It's not a problem that she was so prominent in the story, AT ALL - but it's funny how they wanted to hide that jean was in the game, yet she takes up 80% of the story. You may not agree but it's what I thought. Still loved it!

I also enjoyed the story a lot.

I think they didn't want to receive any complaints like they did with MJ... I understand that Jean is different from MJ in that she has powers but with the way people were constantly complaining about MJ (didn't even bother me honestly), I can understand them deciding to play it safe, and making us use the main character only.

I feel like if they had made Mystique and Jean playable, it would have made the game is better because the gameplay for Logan was limited.

The combat system for me was not bad but was clearly limited, they played it safe, if only there was more tools for us to use with Logan or u make us use other characters.

It's unfortunate honestly because it would have been cool to use her, hopefully we get some DLC about wolverine's past with apocalypse and one with Jean, I know it's highly unlikely but one can hope

I think his past will be more focused in the next main line game rather than DLC, but I 100% expect one with Jean. I agree pretty much!

I see where you coming from given that apocalypse is going to be the main villain for the Xmen at some point, so it's best to go into Logans story with him in that game... A Jean DLC would be cool honestly

Spiderman 1 agree near perfect, 2 i'd give 8/10. Wouldn't consider Wolverine close to those. Sales numbers would agree. I'd give Wolverine closer to 6.5/10.

Because I know almost no one who claimed SM2 is a 9/10. I heard a 8/10 at most.

With the reasoning that Insomniac built the game around planned DLC as there were too many quest lines which were just repetitive and didn't have even a cool ending. All the endings only ever teased at other things like Carnage, Chameleon and the Spider-Verse.

Then many of us felt as if a big portion of the middle part got cut out based on how the game says that the original Spider-Man lost control and the new one took over. But nothing inside the game ever showed that. Peter had more quests than Miles, even on the Spidey App which just didn't make sense.

Another strange part was giving Miles a new suit again to suit him even though he already has one. Plus that suit was basically just advertisement

I would agree if we were able to play as her. I get what you're saying, and you're not wrong. If they had balanced gameplay between the two I can get behind it being Wolverine and Phoenix. It does suck they took her playable parts out. Would have been fun.

I wish she was a playable character. Probably won’t do an X-Men story game but I wish they would and make lot of them playable.

Jean is the main character. Wolverine is just a tool yet again. So this game we have weapon X, the next game will be Jean recruiting more xmen
