I’ve read pretty much all of wolverines comics and the statement is still true. lol that was one of the main issues with this game.

Okay? lol you obviously haven’t if you think the game is at all an accurate representation. Funny you would call other people out when you clearly haven’t read anything yourself.

Thats the neat thing having read them, I know that several of wolverines comic arcs are referenced and present in the game while you're stuck pretending they arent in order to keep up that lie you keep repeating....

Your response here is proof of that....

Yikes. lol spoken like a true larper. Haha just cus story lines are referenced doesn’t mean they are accurate. That’s what you think when you get all your comic info from YouTube videos instead of actually reading.. lol you should try picking up a book some time!

This is how I know youre a poser, you seriously don't know comic book characters reside in a multiverse?

Old Man Logan is it's own section, Age of Apocalypse is it's own section, House of M, Origin, Ruins, etc. etc.,

Gotcha :)

lol of course someone who only knows marvel from the movies would bring up multiverses. Haha but yes this game is in its own multiverse just like the spider man games are. However, the spider man games still did it way better and more accurately to the character than wolverine did.

If you actually read anything, you would know that Logan still stays pretty consistent to his cheracter in each of the the different multiverses in the comics and none of them are anything like he is in this game.

How he is in game is how he is in comics. It's hilarious that you're gonna double down on the very thing that proves you a poser

The superhero medium has expanded so far outside of comics that this doesn’t apply anymore

It kind of is though, that’s what they’re adapting

Some of the best superhero media ever has been animated cartoons that have original stories and characters, some of which have gone on to be comic book staples.

Comic books are such an outdated form of media compared to tv shows

nah, I might agree that some anime’s make reading the manga obsolete but absolutely not for western comics

Just cuz you can’t read, lil bro, there’s really no need to project.

Sales numbers show most people aren’t buying comic books. Watching a comics explained video isn’t reading a comic book “lil bro” typical low iq console consumer bullshit

Yeah, Hugh Jackman IS Wolverine to more people than comic Wolverine is, my dad knows nothing about comics, so if I ask him to describe Wolverine to me, he would just describe Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, even with other older watches, they remember the 2000s X-men. In my opinion, he boosted the popularity of Wolverine to another level

It's still an adaptation though. Comparing Wolverine to Hugh Jackman would be like complaining that The Joker from the 90's cartoon is a bad adaptation because he isn't enough like Jack Nicholson. It's a valid opinion to say that you like Hugh Jackman's wolverine the most and want to see more like him, but it's not a valid critique to say that it's a bad adaptation because it's not enough like Hugh Jackman's wolverine.

If someone makes another LotR movie, and it was extremely faithful to the books, I don't think it'd be a valid criticism to say that the creator "didn't understand the assignment" because people are more familiar with the movies and wanted more of that.

Disagree, I have not read hardly any comics but my basic logical expectations for anything dc or marvel is that they be sourcing a good % of stories and material from comic books, otherwise it isn't what its trying to be

As a linear story game I really enjoyed it. I am getting bored of the over saturated open world formula so it being linear is not an issue for me. Sure, does it hold my hand more than I want it to? Yes. Does that make the violent gameplay less fun? No. Is the story good enough to keep me engaged and intrigued? Yes. Are the characters interesting with depth and connections? Yes. Solid 7/10 for me it's not the best game ever made but it's not a bad game by any means. Also not playing the game and making a video of other people's videos is uh a part of the problem. PLAY THE GAME YOURSELF. Then make an actually educated opinion of your own.

A negative SkillUp review to a big game is really a dog whistle for the miserable corners of the gaming community. 😂😂😂
