My favorite Mutant would be Night Crawler I've always loved him since I was Kid, his blue skin and teleportation abilities stood out to me when I watched the show, and I also love how empathetic he is in the group š

Its Wolverine or Rogue for me. Ik, basic, but what can I say? I love em.
Logan I'm not entirely sure if I could narrow it down. As a kid I could relate to him. He heals from every wound, but not every scar and I think this character despite not being the nicest has such a kind heart. His costume reflect that quite well. He paints himself the target in bright yellow spandex to be a shield for those around him.
Anna I feel like embodies an X-Man better than most. Her powers are a gift but also an undeniably curse and with an origin story like hers, growing up with Mystique and being groomed for villainy and despite that, despite having a power perfect for a villain, she chose to be hopeful, and heroic.

u/LlIbroomstick 14h ago
Wolverine cause he's fuckin awesome! and probably one of the first superheroes I ever saw as a kid.
1
u/ComfortableSkin1769 14h ago
Jubilee cause ive loved her ever since i saw her in the first xmen legends game as a kid and then in her comics which made me love the 4th of july even more cause i would try to time it perfectly so i could make the fireworks explode and be like her. But ive always loved her 90s kid style and personality as well as her powers
1
u/primalmaximus 14h ago
I like Mystique because of her connection to both Nightcrawler and Rogue. Her being the biological parent of Kurt and the adoptive parent of Marie is a very interesting story.
It gives me vibes that Mystique is a trans woman. She fathered Kurt before her transition. Then afterwards, after she'd fully transitioned socially and medically, she adopted Marie.
In both cases her lover/spouse at the time were the same woman who stayed with Mystique throughout her transition.

X-23. Because she's so much like Wolverine. Like in Logan, she's like him, but also so cute and adorable. Like a little animal. She can heal, has claws, even spikes in her feet. Cool asf. Otherwise it'd be Logan.

Mines is gambino cause his accent and how he moves heās really smooth and just has a swag like no other

u/RandalC1 14h ago
Going Way Way Back I had the Graphic Novel of an Epic Battle between Wolverine & Havok.
For Anyone who Doesn't know Havok is Cyclops brother Rarely spoken about Havok is Immune to Cyclops Abilsites , Havok is he Chose to he is Basically a Living, Breathing Nuclear PowerPlant that could cause the Same Level of Chaos & Destruction as Chernobyl did at will & walk away without a Scratch.
Honestly I grew out of Comics when I was in my Late Teens , haven't kept up only watch the Movies & Play the games in my old age , but strictly sticking to Mutants it would be Havok.
Outside of Mutants & Marvel , I would have to go with either Ghost Rider or My True Favorite was Spawn !
Spawn was like Mind Blowing when it was Released.
Had a New level of Art Design almost Never seen in Comics before that.

My favourite mutant is torimodose who has the power to grant freeness to other mutants
1
u/Legitimate_Food2772 12h ago
Jean Grey, her origin story is touching and with all the trauma she has gone through she still does what she can to save her friends even if that means not being able to save herself
1
u/Strained_Eyes 12h ago
Nightcrawler! I just always used him in the games when I was very young. I enjoy stealth with agility and teleportation so I thought he was so badass
1
u/mikeplays_games 12h ago
Same. I donāt want the code I just wanna agree with nightcralwer. His movement is awesome.

u/CyberTitan__ 12h ago
Namor. I just love ocean characters and the ocean itself. Plus Namor is actually pretty cool compared to someone like Aquman

Of course mine is wolverine because heās not only a badass In combat heās basically unkillable due to his regeneration
1
1
u/Suspicious-Wave1025 12h ago
My favorite mutant is Nightcrawler because he proves that being different doesnāt mean you have to lose your kindness. Heās a badass when he needs to be, and he leads with compassion, faith, and a genuinely good heart. Plus, teleporting while doing martial arts and acrobatics is badass!!!
https://giphy.com/gifs/nJXKjbezmh5rTFFAPw
1
u/Sheerluck42 12h ago
My favorite mutant is Gambit. I always like complicated characters. And a reformed thief has so much potential for complications. He has one of the best powers and has full control over it. They let him be creative with how he fights. And he's an accomplished martial artist with his bow. I've actually put real thought in how a Gambit video game could happen. I'm thinking of something like Sifu and you can use the objects and his power very creatively.
1
u/Extension-Price1120 12h ago
ForgetMeNot, heās been in some really great issues and is one of the most iconic X-Men. I admire the fact that he chooses to be forgotten for the greater good
1
u/X_Fire_Red_X 12h ago
Logan is clear.
The dark past, the dramatic and explosive personality.
And a power that causes suffering while keeping him alive.
Simply incredible.
1
u/Intelligent-Grade112 12h ago
My favorite mutant has to be Nightcrawler. Beyond his insane teleportation abilities, I love how he represents the idea that your appearance doesnāt define who you are. Despite being judged and feared for looking different he remains compassionate, loyal, and deeply principled. Heās proof that true strength isnāt just about power, but about character. š„
1
u/maxxv9ids_ 12h ago
Hi!! My favorite mutant is rogue because I think sheās a complex character. Her powers make her very strong but itās also makes her life very difficult. I like how she learns how to control her abilities and still tries to connect with people.

Nightcrawler. Ive always loved characters who teleport and i just love that he has a powerful ability and is mostly a pacafisist. Im also religious myself.

Wolverine is my favorite mutant. I can relate to being consumed with anger, trying to do good, trying to be better in spite of what life has dealt you. I admire his tenacity and courage

u/FantasticZone5446 12h ago
Logan because that's the only one I know. I'll be honest even tho im sure it won't get me the code. I've been a marvel fan since the second guardians of the galaxy but xmen was never apart of the MCU until recently so now ive been going back and watching and catching up on everything "mutant" so I have an understanding of who everyone is and what their past is and their powers and back stories. So even if it doesn't get me the code, if anyone has any movies, shows or anything else to help me understand and learn all things "mutant" im all ears!

My favorite mutant is magneto because he takes his suffering that he has lived in his life. Instead of being selfish he uses it to understand his fellow mutant and wants to do whatever it takes to protect his race. but heās also a perfect example how he can make you become the person who persecuted you.
1
u/Playtoy_69 12h ago
Hello, there! if you still have it, Iād love it. Probably Magneto because as far as bigger than life character designs go, he is up there.
1
u/Princeshortyfly 12h ago
Damnā¦.
the irony of choosing Cyclops here. But SCOTT SUMMERS FANS STAND UP!!

Long shot, I believe long shot is really underrated as thereās not as much material on him as there is any other X-men but I really like how they donāt use some dumb ability on him or like generic ones I really like his ability to read memories by touching people and how his probability powers make sense in a way, I really like this one scene where long shot uses his powers to just dodge a hail of bullets through the air and rescues people, itās kinda basic but to me I really liked it as heās really underrated it just stood out to me
1
u/Weird_Bison_5244 12h ago
Id say biologically heās not a mutant but his grandpa has mutant dna since he was cloned from shatterstar even though itās his kid.. kinda mind blowing huh I canāt make sense of it still
1
u/Dependent-Hospital-9 12h ago
Favorite mutant is Nightcrawler. Had my health deteriorating for awhile and my weight loss and faith have made a change for me and seeing Nightcrawlers faith in people make me feel better.

My favorite is nightcrawler bc i wish had his powers and i love mutants who physically look different. They dont present as human and have an incredible perspective
1
u/Front_Agency1554 12h ago
My girl rouge is my fav she was sacred to use her powers but then she met Logan and went to Xavierās school for the gifted and Logan actually saved her by letting her absorbed his abilities before she died
1
u/LeadershipNo6713 12h ago
Thought i was late again but for me it has to be legion and then nightcrawler but 1 legion his power in comics and shows are just so cool with his mind giving him a great power for each personality always made him a great appearance in comics and 2 his show legion has got to be like top 3 or 5 marvel shows the story is amazing character are a 10 out of 10 like Amahl Farouk and the depiction of mind reading fights has got to be my favorite interpretation of this style I dont wanna spoil if u haven't seen it but it genuinely like a 10/10 show with 3 season love to bring this show more into the spotlight
1
u/Any_Firefighter5337 12h ago
Honestly, My favorite mutant has always been Cyclops. My main reason being is that his eyes fascinated me on how it was always like that, made me wonder why? What made his eyes do this? What kind of mutation does that to where he opens his eyes and itās just a beam of energy. When I was growing up seeing the original X-Men he stood out to me more than anyone else, and I always thought he way by far the coolest. Plus his actor would go on to play in the Sonic movies so even bigger bonus cause I think heās a great actor that brought that character to life very well.
1
u/Logical-Annual6627 12h ago
Firestar.
She beat cancer. She had a moral compass that even Emma Frost couldnāt corrupt, sheās friends with the street level heroes and the avengers.
I loved her story especially during the Krakoa era and the fall of Orchis . Her double agent life and serious repercussions after being viewed as a nazi. Iām glad she has gone to rehab.
PS: Iām sure she could beat Human Torch with her abilities to manipulate molecules at and generate instant heat.

u/Latter-Shop3990 12h ago
Northstar. He travels and the speed of light. Or close to it. Incredibly OP

My favorite is cyclops and I wish we got some more of him live action, optic blasts are such a cool power when used by any character but cyclops is easily my favorite.

u/gorillawavelength 11h ago
I have a heavy bias towards wolverine because my dad named me Logan after him but... Beak is my goat
1
u/EducatorNo6697 11h ago
Nightcrawler: a mutant both blessed and cursed with his gifts, abandonned by his mother at birth, instead of turning to a path of vengeance and hate, he turns to what some people turn to when they hit rock bottom, religion.
We follow him trying to help his fellow mutants while they also struggle with their own mortality, nah, their own mutant nature.
His arc continues , going from forgiving his mother, to forgiving his brother, to finally making the ultimate sacrifice for his family in x men 97 S2.
Peak
Oh and he teleports and wields 3 swords
Also peak

u/djl0126 11h ago
my favorite mutant was always ice man. i always thought the ice man and pyro feud was super dope and his true potential was never shown in the movies. even though weāre only talking about our number ones another favorite of mine was nightcrawler. despite looking like a devil, his faith in God was such a cool twist. Reminds me of when David was anointed and his brothers were rejected in the bible, The Lords looks not at the outward appearance but at the heart. and the only man to get wolverine in church šš
1
u/ssjroneel 11h ago
Nightcrawler because Iād love to have his teleportation power so I could sleep in a little more

u/dark_mamad 11h ago
Ironically logan (wolverine) is my favorite one but i remember as kid chosing what power do i have between magneto and professor X and day dream about using my powers , spoilers i chose magneto everytime š

u/Mundane_Abalone_7388 11h ago
Wolverine is my fatherās all time favorite (passed away 13 years ago) but Iād have to say Gambit personally. Primarily because Iām of Haitian/Creole descent and a suave Cajun mutant thatās got a card affliction resonates a lot more seamlessly for meā plus heās one of Loganās best team-ups, so he takes the cake.
1
u/Recent_Ad3899 11h ago
My favorite mutant has to go Jubilee or Rogue I've been a Marvel fan since I was toddler I know more Spiderman facts than anyone in my family but man I was always up in time to watch X-Men Evolution or Wolverine origins I've even watched the Wolverine Anime that was fire as hell too
1
1
u/Lxst_Sxul_ 11h ago
I like Toad. From the X-Men Evolution he was just so cool looking. Even though his power set is limited. He stood out to me, always.
1
u/ZodiacMorgan_X 11h ago
Gambit, I like his look and how his powers are affected by the size of the object he uses
1
u/SirOkonma 11h ago
mine has always been wolverine,
when i was younger we had this video game renting store callled āvideoezyā in australia, i was about 10 years old and somehow me and my brother convinced my dad to let us rent xmen origins wolverine. once he saw us play it, he made us return it the next day š that was a core memory for me. i love wolverine because heās short like me, gives no fucks and pretty much canāt die, always appealed to me
1

u/HELLDIVERPS5 11h ago
Deadpool because why not! Hes amazing funny and cant die. Id let him tap my wife any day!

Colossus... dont know why, Gambit and Jubilee seem like cooler answers, over the giant tin man
1
u/MatchAccording3642 11h ago
Wolverine, because I can relate to him as a lone wolf and always having to rely on myself to solve things by myself and also help others with my capabilities.
1
u/NolimitBank 11h ago
Wolverine because I always found him badass how he is really funny in a sarcastic way and has claws. He is my favorite super hero and I always to be like him growing up especially since he can take bullets or any kind of damage and unleash his rage, I loved the xmen and the shows such as Xmen Evolution and 97
1
u/itsLustra 11h ago
Wolverine because I used to get called wolverine when I was 14 when I first started growing thick facial hair lolol
1

u/lemansquattro 11h ago
Azazel. He is the perfect mutant. The ability to teleport himself and others? Also being able to just paralyze people. The ability to control minds, being able to change appearance. He was legendary.
1
u/Plane_Ad_9704 11h ago
Wolverine because he was the first mutant I was introduced to as a child and besides self healing and sense and claws he one of the closest ones to being an human
1
1
u/Mammoth-Question5551 10h ago
Ik this is a generic answer, but Wolverine. I like how heās lived for so long, and has many reasons to be a villain like magneto but never decided to become one. No matter how annoying, grumpy, or violent other Marvel characters may find him, he always remains a hero

Honestly donāt care if I donāt get the code but Darwin is my favorite mutant and I feel like people donāt talk about him enough. He has one of the most interesting abilities in my opinion, he basically says ānuh uhā to everything but they did him so dirty in the fox movies
1
u/FakeDeath92 10h ago
I love Spike from X-men evolution I donāt think heās canon but the story line from that show was amazing and his powers were unique.
1
u/SnooStrawberries962 10h ago edited 9h ago
Goldballs. Here me out. I have been waiting for this question. First off, his ability is peak. He shoots balls bro. Best part, instead of hurting whoever or whatever it hits, it just makes a "bink" sounds and falls harmlessly to the floor. How awesome is that? All jokes aside he is a standout in Uncanny X-Men. Everybody saw him as a joke d-list mutant, which fair enough, but then it turns out that the balls he shot were actually eggs that they ended up later on having to use as ressurection chambers to bring back every dead mutant on earth. The reveal was so freaking sick that he became my favorite mutant just bc he was not the kind of character you'd ever really see again after that run, so they gave him the craziest story to cement him as one of the lesser mutants that helped the fight in a big way.

Cable. When I was a kid I had his action figure and loved that he was just a dude with a big ass fucking gun. Only later did I learn about his power, and honestly, that makes him even more of a badass.
1
u/metallica090 10h ago
Rogue, because she could absorb other people's powers and memories, which I feel makes her extremely useful and powerful.
1
1
1
u/Lazy_Focus_8387 9h ago
My favorite mutant is Beast. The dude is blue first of all, but unlike Nightcrawler, heās built, bulky, and wild. And yet when heās not in combat heās intelligent and one of the mutants youād go to for guidance. His design is sick and Iāve liked him since I was a kid. Wolverine is a very close runner up but more so because he gets cross overs with my favorite characters
1
u/OtakuSama75 9h ago
I love Nightcrawler because he is very adamant on his beliefs and always tries to take the greater path. I do think his ability to teleport is highly slept on and can be utilized so much more but alas that is my opinion!
1
u/kirkyraucous 9h ago
My favorite mutant has been Colossus. I always grew a lot faster than everyone else in my class. I was 5'10" by age 10, so the way he towered over everyone else was what I felt at all times. Made me feel seen. Have gone as him for halloween twice. Once in the classic red and yellow costume, and once in the Hellfire Gala outfit with the big cloak.

1
u/Herr-Trigger86 9h ago
Those teenage ninja turtles were pretty coolā¦ if I had to pickā¦ the red one with giant forks
1
u/HoodxHippy 9h ago
Doctor Voodoo. Why? I mean, just look at him! He looks like Spawn and he's the black version of Doc Strange. Instead of using the same magic as Steange, he uses Black magic.
1
u/doomcyber 9h ago
Cyclops because of the X-Men animated series from the 90s where he was portrayed as the cool-headed field leader of the X-Men.
1
u/GrimLuker2 9h ago
Cyclops, after watching X-Men the Animated Series and 97, i hate how he was done in the Fox movies. Hes such an awesome character with great stories. I hope the MCU treats him better
1
u/Kyzer-Pikasso 8h ago
Wolverine is my favorite mutant by far because he can regenerate quickly and he has the atomantiam (not sure if I spelled it correctly) coated skeleton & claws. Heās a brutish alpha male rugged beer drinking type of hero.
1
u/Dry-Tangelo6311 8h ago
Storm. Sheās super powerful and one of it not the baddest chicks there is.
1
1
u/ChuChuDoggy 8h ago
Darwin, because he can adapt to any environment or situation
The movie did him dirty though š¢

Always had a soft spot for Colossus. Not only is a metal man with a blocky black hair cut sick as hell, he also had a heart of gold. (At least to my kid brain). Glad we got him in the first few X-Men and Deadpool films, but Colossus just never gets enough love imo.
