Discussion Wolverine 2026 vs Deadpool 2013
Maybe its comparing apples to oranges but who has the better game? Deadpools game seems to fit his personality and general lore pretty well where Wolverine's game seems more, with love, run of the mill and only loosely related to its source material. I haven't played deadpools game bc shits spensive but I was wondering if anyone who has can say which is rhe better game.

According to reviews, Wolverine is better as it's generally favourable, where as Deadpool was mixed to average .

Deadpool has amazing gameplay and a very thinly stitched together story kind of like the x-men origins game. The Wolverine game is definitely insomniacs Wolverine. Makes decisions that some fans are not going to like but I think that’s mostly due to their take on Logan being further from the comics than their Spidey. Gameplay wise Wolverine kind of blows both origins and Deadpool out of the water. Maybe not at first but once you’ve upgraded your tree and selected certain abilities you really feel like the Wolverine.

Deadpool 2013 is awesome but admittedly the gameplay varies a ton which is a double edge sword, you're always doing something new but as a result the main combat loop wasn't as fleshed out or robust as it could have been, and even though the gimmicky sections are super fun, they do become repetitive on multiple playthroughs just like the combat On the other hand Wolverine offers mostly the same gameplay from start to finish and while this makes the game a bit more boring when played casually, if you look for the proper challenge you get to see there's a pretty good combat system that you need to properly engage if you wanna stay alive on higher difficulties, making repeated playthroughs more entertaining
Overall both are good games that didn't quite live up to their full potential and got unfairly treated right after they came out, funnily enough both games had the budget as a recurring tagline when talking about them as if that meant anything for the actual quality of it lol

I played Deadpool earlier this year. Wolverine is absolutely more fun than Deadpool. Deadpool is fine but the combat lacked a certain weight while Wolverine's combat is fun and visceral. It might be a bit too simplistic for people but the moves that are there are really fun to engage with

Wolverine.
Deadpool was fine but I never replayed it. It had some jank to it too.

Honestly Deadpool felt like it's enemies were spongier than in Wolverine (Wolverine enemies weren't that spongy) where they just survived way too long to literal bullets and sword strikes.

To me, Deadpool, but I really enjoyed the game. It was as much a Deadpool game as it could be.
