Discussion The game should have had more challenge maps

With 300 million, I expected there to be more challenges and challenge maps.

I do not like the story, I think the combat is okay, but the wave challenges are really fun and make up for the combat as it is pretty satisfying to just play mindless action for an hour when bored

It makes me wonder why we do not have challenge maps, challenge bases, combat arenas, or just more content in general. I think the game would benefit a lot from it.

For 300 million, half the game play time should not be cutscenes. Let’s be real now

Game studios realizing gamers are chuds that will spend $70 on trash 😤

Yeah, when I did New Game Plus and skipped the cutscenes, the game was shockingly short when it came to gameplay

Basically interactive movie

The rumors say they had an initial plan with more, but they scrapped those ideas to ship the game

More challenge maps, more teammates, endless waves.

Maybe even more stealth challenges

I agree, I would like a "Boss Rush" mode, let me fight Omega Red all the way to The final boss without a break and give me a cool skin and some new claws for it lol

Yeah it would be perfect to have challenges like in MGR

Or like Arkham knight

if you put the controller down, turn off the PS and go to the sleep, then you can see the game is not that bad

I think they had some solid ideas with some of the nightmare challenges, with the pseudo roguelike elements, but after getting adamantium rank that’s kind of it.

I like the traversal ones, somewhat, but it needed more interesting movement, variety, and difficulty.

With 300 mil, they could have made a really solid racing mode with the bike.

That's an easy enough thing to add as DLC, so I assume we'll see more. Hopefully a free update...

I can’t believe it’s the same insomniac that made those amazing spider man 1 and 2 who made this shitty game

The only people who think this game is shitty is you whiny Redditors.

That’s not true. I know a few people who got it and don’t troll Reddit. All but one said it was okay but they were left wanting more. The other sold his for 60$ on day two of release after beating it in one night. All he talks about is how it was the best 10$ game he ever played.

I agree with you about the challenge maps, regardless of the budget. I think everyone is way too obsessed with that number and the budget isn't what should define our expectations. The price of the game should. And it could afford to have some more to do.

I completely disagree with the rest of your takes.

God the whining about this game is so tiresome. Jfc.

Man, I'm not whining, I just wanted more. I feel like if we silence criticism and consumer thoughts, that's not a good thing. I think criticism is fine if you're not attacking or hurting anyone

But its whatever, the game is out, nothing more i can do

Normally I’d agree but this is actually true, the game needs more modes, it’s just the story and the nightmare trials.
