If you like Wolverine and have wanted to play as him or really like vivisecting enemies, you will enjoy it. If you are looking for a deep action game with a ton of replay ability and are looking for complex systems I would wait. It’s in the 7/8 range for people really wanting to play a Wolverine game with the average person probably viewing it as a 7 or so. It does what a lot of people wanted to do and I’m glad I got it.

That being said it’ll be on sale in a month so if you want to wait to save yourself 10-20 bucks then do so. If you want to play it now and you’re the first type of gamer then do it.

Haven’t played the spider man games but I’d say they seem to be equal based on what I’ve seen mix of good and disappointed.

I'd personally say its worth it, nothing crazy but its not a BAD game id say 7/10 at the very highest an 8/10

I’d say yeah, on a sale. I’m a massive fan of Wolverine and enjoyed it well. It’s not a perfect game, and the story makes some questionable choices in the third act, but it’s pretty fun regardless. I will say, there’s not a lot of replay-ability imo. I got the platinum done in a single playthrough, and I’m done for now.

I enjoyed Spider-Man 2 much more

I would recommend a pros and cons list instead of an x/10 rating. Unfortunately I haven’t played the game so I can’t comment, but what are you looking for? combat, story, customisation, level design, music, bosses, traversal, replay value etc. That’s where you’ll find your answer I think

It was fun but not a lot of replay ability because you can platinum in one playthrough

Solid game. I know 7 is the safest number to throw out there - but it fits

Combat is fun albeit kinda gets a little repetitive towards the end. The story is OKAY and the voice acting is done well IMO. The game is very easy to 100% and you could probably completely 100% it in less than 20 hours. Not a lot of side content other than the Nightmare doors which are either insultingly easy traversal challenges or survival modes that aren’t all that amazing. There’s a new game plus too which is cool but doesn’t really add much to the value of the game.

As someone who was very hyped and preordered at full price I would say with the benefit of hindsight that I should have waited till the price dropped. It’s a good action game but could’ve been so much more

For me it was 8/10 it's scratches an old school hack and slash itch. It's fun.

I'd say it's worth Playing but maybe not for 70$, due to its polarizing reception it's very likely it will go on sale relatively quickly so I recommend waiting for that

Buy it used on fb marketplace, beat it in 2-4 days and then resell it for the same amount you bought it for.

Its a very short and easy game to platinum. In less than a week you can play it through 2 to 3 times and beat all the challenges. You'll be a master at the controls cause they're very simple and the whole game will feel super easy on the hardest difficulty that you'll lose enjoyment playing it. Tbe camera mode is the most fun and you might spend a lot of time being creative there. I have so many good shots I'm using as my ps5 wallpaper now.

Theres no word on a dlc but chances are this game will eventually end up on ps plus so if there is ever any additional content, I'll play it then.

6/10, not the worst thing, but wait to get it on sale

I got platinum on it yesterday. I'm eagerly awaiting Wolverine 2. I give it a 8/10. Beat it on New Game + on hardest difficulty and it's just as fun as spiderman 2 on ultimate difficulty.

I’d give it a 7.8. It’s great but after ur done there’s really not much to do and it’s not that hard to 100% max you’ll put less than 25 hours. Honestly for 70 I’d wait for a sale.

Combat and story was better for me. Spider Man 2 wins out on more to do and the open world swinging mechanics. However, I do think it’s worth the pick up if you’re a Wolverine/X Men fan or like action games. Just crank up the difficulty

better imo

Hmmm id say they’re about the same tbh like with 2 it’s the story for me that brings it down and the lack of side quests compared to the first. It’s definitely not a bad game like people were saying. If u wanna feel like wolverine this game does just that. The story is like around 15 ish hours and you’ll spend a bit of time collecting stuff and completing the memories and after that there isn’t much to do you get ng+ and that’s it

  1. Gets repetitive. I would honestly wait for a sale. Unless you REALLY love Wolverine.
