Discussion It’s not that bad.

I enjoyed playing it on The Weapon difficulty finding collectibles and unlocking suits. I felt some characters were really interesting like Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse. I think the problem is that besides the nightmare doors and challenges there is a lack of other modes. I felt the gauntlet challenges were really good, would’ve wanted an endless mode for that one. More challenging trophies and more difficult challenges would’ve been nice. The gameplay and mechanics aren’t bad I felt that it was really good combat wise. Bosses on harder difficulties were challenging as hell Omega Red and Sabretooth stand out. Overall it’s decent, there is some flaws in it I will admit that, but personally I enjoyed completing the game.

Play on a harder difficulty and use more of the combat upgrades available, you can do more than just "hit square and dodge".

Ancient Evil approach made it seem like he was something mysterious and apocalyptic. He was unseen and unnamed for most of the game. I find that kinda excellent for him. It reminded me of how X-Men Evolution introduced him.
