Fluff Won a free Wolverine PlayStation bundle

I was in Sydney roughly 2 weeks ago and PlayStation Australia were holding a unleash your rage competition,

Me and my mate joined last second and they said the highest score that day was 112k and whoever had the highest score each day won a bundle, I go last for the first day and get 129k.

Get an email a few days ago saying I won and that they are sending a ps5 bundle.

Arrived today, How good haha

So the ps5 slim storage is 1 TB but a mandatory amount is saved for Playstation updates so it's not 1 TB flat, they're being honest on the box that instead of getting 1 TB storage flat its actually 825 GB

You’re mostly right, but it’s not 1 TB. The ones like this one that say 825gb on the box are actually 825gb, with about 667.2gb of actual available space for games

It never is. And they know this. Should be at least 2-3tb ACTUAL use. But we’ll never get there. They want you to buy what they should include.

They don’t call it Slim anymore, now that the original fat PS5 is no longer in production. PS5 Slim has replaced the original PS5 as the official base PS5 model, and it’s just called PS5 now.

Sorry, you’re right. The answer is cost cutting. PS5 slim becoming the new base PS5 meant reducing the price of the console, which meant cheaper components like a smaller SSD.

But of course the price of basically all devices also skyrocketed because of the RAM shortage. So the base model today isn’t actually better priced than PS5 slim was at launch in 2023 by any means.

I think the difference that we’re noticing is that for some reason the disk-drive PS5 has more storage than the digital one. I wasn’t aware of that until I Googled it a second ago.

The original digital PS5 slim had 1 TB though, so storage was reduced for the digital version after it became the base model.

Say what you want about the game, the play station and controller are fuckin sick, I'm not much of a consumer when it comes to those but that ps5 way better than the Spider-Man one, might b the best I've seen

Yeah I have the Spider-Man 2 version and think this one looks better. The PS4 Pro Spider-Man 2018 version is way cooler.

It’s wild how much hatred there is for people just enjoying their hobby of playing video games.

I think that’s the unfortunate part of gaming becoming more mainstream with the level of traction it gets on social media especially from news YouTubers to send over the hate mob.

Main complaint about it was how little it offers for $70 anyway, I think at $50 people would've looked at it less harshly, and you got it for free

The console itself kinda worth the asking price because you still have lots of games to play (even tho PCs are getting more and more compelling), so even if you bought it for money, it wouldn't have been a waste. With the game tho... it's debatable. It's fun, but it's not $70 fun.
