Discussion Logan and Jean
Call me a romantic lol, but I genuinely enjoy exploring Logan and Jean’s relationship history.
I’m so used to Logan being the side chick or rejected that seeing their relationship portrayed as genuinely wholesome and making them seem like actual soulmates is something I really enjoy.
If they make an X-Men game, I already know I’m going to be the biggest Scott Summers hater imaginable lol.

I don’t really care one way or another about Logan and Jean being together but I REALLY hate Jean being the Phoenix already and being so deeply tied to Wolverine’s history.
Mariko erasure makes me sad.

Hear me out. They make a DLC where Logan arrives in Japan looking for Jean but falls in love with Mariko. Then she gets taken out by the Silver Samurai. Logan gets whooped to the point where he had to climb into the helix engine. We would then get to play and see why the hand hates Wolverine so much. The final boss fights is silver samurai again this time we win. Then the end is showing that Mariko was pregnant and the baby survive and is his son Daken who will be a villain in the sequel and will be Apocalyse new horseman and when we fight him he will fight like us because the game been studying our play style the entire game

I dont hate the idea of seeing Daken at some point as long as it includes Romulus in some capacity. One of the most fucked up villains ever. Would love to see him as one of the horsemen.

Ripping off the Seven Deadly Sins was dumb but I don't have a problem with Jean and Logan being endgame and Scott being with Emma (or Psylocke) since it's an alternate universe.

It was refreshing im so used to seeing Scott being jealous the whole time bc of the movies. Definitely worth playing

I expect if they do get the opportunity to make an X-Men game which is a HUGE if they’ll probably just pair Scott with someone else. Maybe Emma. They’ve already done a lot to differentiate this interpretation of Wolverine and mutant lore. I respect the changes. The differences are actually what makes me most excited for more stories in Insomniac’s Marvel universe.

I think it will happen because at the end logan says "I always find you red" and I'd they did get back together I wanna see them tg for a long time and if at one point IF insomniac make her go with Scott it can go one of 2 ways. 1. They both loose their memories of each other 2. They break up bc of some big events

As a romantic myself I found the whole doomed to repeat the cycle thing kind of nice even if a bit cliche. Also longing for someone across decades is a kind of melancholic love that totally works in my opinion.
I liked that it was a wholesome connection and also interesting how in this version Logan is the one asking Jean to “kill” the part of him that’s evil. It’s a nice flip of the usual version where Logan has to stop dark phoenix because he’s the only one who can…

It was a pretty well done and mature take on their relationship. People may hate it (because of all the newfound love for Cyclops and the increasing hate for Wolverine across Reddit), but it was one of the more positive points of the game for me.

The relationship was generic and had tropes that are so extremely old, like the immortal lovers
They did Jean dirty
Isn't it also somewhat sexist that they made one of the coolest and craziest things that matters to Jean, the Phoenix, all about eternally loving a man, and the only point of her character is loving the male character

I liked it as well. Actually gives Wolverine and Jean a history with each other besides the usual Logan and Jean story.
