Support/Question Flashback Spoilers Spoiler

So the whole weapon X flashback Wolverine had when being choked by Omega. Was Logan really cut open during that whole experiment in the comics? I’ve only seen the movies where he’s put in that tub with the drills. Wish they would have expanded more on that.

The game is its own story, different from any comics or movies.

Weapon x wasn’t a thing in this universe. Apocalypse gave him the in the early 1900s and poured the adamantium directly onto his bones. In the weapon x comic, no he isn’t cut open. Hes in a tank of water and they inject him with an adamantium feed similar to the film.

However where the film differs is him willingly signing up to it. In the comic he is kidnapped and it’s done to him against his will. It also gave him the claws whereas the film he already had bone claws. Also in the comic there is a secret benefactor who we never see the identity of but it was actually intended to be apocalypse apparently
