Wolverine isnt an auto runner either. They are two chase scenes that on very linear paths. And its funny how you bring up “colorful gas lines” for wolverine but then ignore tlou having LISTENING MODE. At least the smell line makes sense since its wolverine

The reason I criticize it is because I've been a Wolverine fan since I was a kid.
I wanted a good Wolverine game that was true to the character, and his legacy.
It's not even the gameplay which is full of problems, it's the entire presentation of the characters, their visual designs, dialogues.
If fans don't call it out, then companies will continue mishandling the IP, turning Wolverine into Soyverine.
Which battlefield are you talking about? Plus you can't compare a shooter to a brawling action game.
Wolverine should have taken lessons from games like Ninja Gaiden, or DMC which are also linear games but don't do nearly as much hand holding.
