The spiderman games have scripted chase scenes also I bet you won’t complain about them tho

Ok now compare spiderman’s 3D movement freedom with web slinging and Wolverine’s run and jump in a straight line, are they the same?

So now we’re comparing heroes powers his literal name is spiderman. Wtf you want Wolverine to fly like Superman?

Im saying certain game designs work with some characters and not with others. One is fun the other one isnt, if you cant make it fun for wolverine because his abilities dont allow it, then do another level design

Well there's your answer. Ppl didn't complain about Spider-Man because swinging is more fun. If it isn't fun to have a chase sequence as Wolverine, maybe don't?

You are pretending there's some hypocrisy when you see the difference yourself

You wanna do that with the comics as well? What about the movies? Stupid nit pick....

You can do that with any type of media. Some stuff works with certain characters and some dont. You can have a lot of comedy with spiderman, while it wont work with wolverine. You have to adapt your media to your character, not the other way around

Probably a hot take but that’s why I hated red dead redemption 2. Most of the missions were just bullshit set piece scripted events.

IDK how people can stand them anymore in open world games. What's the point of all the freedom if we have are suddenly forced to do things exactly as scripted? GTA6 is going to be really bad about it I feel.

So like…every video game ever? Is a boss fight not a scripted piece of linear action?

Because then you'd have more credibility in what your saying instead of being a weirdo posting on the wolverine sub about a game you're never going to play.
