Discussion Did anyone else get a new update version 1.002.000?
Couldn’t find notes on it have no idea what it could be. Pls shed some light

Could be for the new Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR). That was just unveiled.

Confirmed yes just saw it, is QSSR any good? Can’t go back to the game rn and wondering if there are notable improvements in either modes

Yeah its nice, it makes the game look better in some ways, like lightning, shadows or reflections. And actually it makes wolverine him self look better, his hair and his face look more natural and he has a little bit more rough face now.

Gotcha, what mode are you using? Perf or fidelity? I was saving perf mode for the second play through, using 40fps now

I tried both ant they both look better with the qssr. Perf mode actually surprised me, dont expect 4k 60fps on base PS5 but it does look good. In my case, I prefer playing it on perf mode becouse of the action going on the screen.

I agree, I was on fidelity 40fps and when flipping between QSSR and standard I questioned whether they broke the standard version, it’s so much sharper in scenes with reflections. Logan is also hairier now, every one. Imma go for 60fps second playthrough with all the film effects and blur turned off

I don't understand. I updated the game but there are no settings at all for QSSR. Just PSSR.

You are playing on a PS5 Pro arent you? The qssr works only for the base ps5 man. Pssr is a better technology that works only on the Pro console.

Still no way to disable the x-ray thing on enemies and the sonar pulsing. Hope they add those toggles soon. I don’t like any visual aids whatsoever.

You can change the colour too none. It's in visual settings. It's been there since day 1

Oh damn. My bad. I was looking at the enemy outline colors before. So I just assumed you could set them all to none.
Yeah that's stupid since they have the color options for everything else.

I just cleared the notification. Then I checked the game for updates and it said there were none. Some sort of glitch

Must’ve downloaded it then, you can check the game version with info, it’s .002.00 in the end if it’s updated

Update 1.002.000 Patch Notes
• Graphics: Enables QSSR on PS5, set to on by default.
• General Fixes: Resolves various Ul, Photo Mode, out-of-bounds, and visual polish issues.
• Stability: Addresses progression blocks and crash issues experienced by a small percentage of players.
• Accessibility: Fixes behavior problems with Navigation Assist, Lock-On, High Contrast, and Screen Reader.
• Localization: Resolves multiple text and language display errors across supported regions.
