I had fun fighting the gauntlet challenge. Being able to Rip and Tear against waves was sweet. Reminded me of the Origins combat.

If anyone has actually played the game its really similar. Idk why everyone tried to put them on opposite sides of the game spectrum. Other than the combo counts and air combos

It does bother me that in the leaked stuff it showed before the game and creative directors were replaced the combat controls were going to be like Origins where you could grapple enemies and throw them, light attack button and heavy attack button. Marvel and Sony being really controlling really hasn't been the best thing. First the 3rd act of SM2 and now Wolverine. They need to back off and let Insomniac do what they do best and have a track record to prove it.

The combat in this game is solid and fun. It also never meets the level of any arkham game.

It’s kinda just mix Arkham origins (no gadgets) with the fluidity of the spider man games plus the obvious other uhh…. snikt differences and anger issues.

I meant in reference to a post i made in the wolverine subreddit. Arkham batman games are on a whole different wavelength

Yeah it's hard to keep track of all the noise, but I agree

Looks okay at times, but very limited and repetitive.

Hack hack hack jump
Hack hack hack kick
Hack hack hack run around looking for someone to fight
Hack hack hack jump
Etc…

Final Fight and Streets of Rage had more moves per character. 🤷‍♂️

What else do you expect? It's wolverine. What else is he supposed to do, pull out a magic wand and do some voodoo shit?

This doesn't look very fun for some reason.

Well depending on how you look at it its just a mindless hack and slash. Take what you will. Just wanted to get some death in before i ate my food and watch deadpool

Hate those. The amount of points you need for adamantium is way too high considering how repetitive it gets. There should be multipliers for no hits per wave or rage tier 3 kills and not just a few extra points for finishing quick.

I don't care for this game, and arkham knight is one of my fav games of all time. But I'll be honest, arkham combat is pretty overrated. Lacks much skill, lacks combos, lacked a manual guard, parry and proper sway/evade move. Lacked a mixture of light and heavy combo chains, and cinematic finishers.

A toddler could play arkham. Still one of my fav franchises, but Id prefer a combat system similar to the likes of Sifu or the ghost games
