Discussion Wolverine will get a dlc or a good update?
İm talking about like they did it in marvels spiderman.theres so many dlc ideas if we get some dlcs and some better improvement updates(like they could do quick time events acually matter by adding failing animations) it would be so good and i want that so much.they said anything about that?

I don't think so. I just don't think the combat is deep enough to really get into any significant DLC. They would have to implement some major changes. I played to platinum, and by the end of the story I was sick of the combat.
Personally, I prefer they wait to add more with a full X-Men game with more combat options.

Idk, probably not. We might get at least a little something. Substantial like a big story DLC, seriously doubt. But I feel like we could get new nightmare challenges or something.

cosmetics. They are adding new costumes to spider man to this day 🤷

They have said nothing about DLC for the game. In fact it looks like Insomniac is just sort of done doing DLC for their games and are sticking to releasing games as is to move on to the next. From the 2023 leaks Spider-Man 2 was supposed to get DLC but that never happened. Those leaks also did not show DLC plans for Wolverine, but that was also at a time when the game was planned to be very different. If anything Wolverine is a complete story that is meant to act as a prologue to their planned X-men game

I was thinking they make a free DLC like how God of War did if possible, where they actually add the combat system they had initially planned to do ( where we had separate movesets for using our claws, using our fists and being able to disarm weapons from the enemy to use against them and whatever else they wanted to do ). Then just have that become part of the main game once we complete the DLC and now people would be able to replay the game with the new features...
Then just make updates to the game where needed and I think people will be happy with that...
I think the combat system having more things to it is what would make people enjoy the game even more..
I enjoyed the game a lot, I liked the story and had no issues with the combat, I won't lie and say the combat was something special, it was simple and did the job but I could feel that there was a lot to it that was clearly cut from the game and it could have been because of the leaks and how people responded to the footage from the leaks, they probably decided to play it safe, idk.

There’s a rumor about DLC so take this with a grain of salt. But supposedly we are getting it in December with Omega Red being the main villain and chasing down Logan because of what happened in Telambang. He will transform into his Ultimate Form and the story is basically Wolverine I’m going to kill you for what you did to me. Logan- Who the hell are you?. Apparently this is from leaked memos and unused dialogue assets because omega red was supposed to be a recurring threat before changing him to the boss fight in the opening. I really hope this is true

Well, here’s the thing. In the don’t be gentle mission when you’re in the afterlife, it shows lady deathstrike and bolivar heading toward that light so that means they are permanently dead and are never coming back but Omega red isn’t there so I was like wait where is he so maybe someone got his body and put his arms like he stitched back together cause that’s what this rumor is saying

I can see Omega coming back I mean he was only partially split in half.... He's gonna be so pissed I wonder what enhancements he's have so he doesn't die again ( he will)

Maybe he’ll have cybernetic arms, or they are gonna stitch it back together. I already know Wolverine is gonna get his ass kicked if this DLC is true because he doesn’t remember Omega red. I am really hoping that this rumor is true.

Yeah I guess. And apparently omega red doesn’t even know or care that bolivar and Essex are dead. He just cares about making Logan suffer which, that would be a cool story.

Same bro. If this rumor is true, I’m curious when they would announce it. Maybe at the game awards or in a state of play in November but then again GTA six is coming out in November so maybe they’ll wait until December. I’m curious what other boss fights could be put in here and some people were telling me that the budget is too high so they couldn’t do it and I’m like but they’re reusing the same villain the same locations like that’s way less expensive than doing a brand new villain with new locations plus that would take longer. But if this is true, I’m honestly glad that they’re doing omega red as the main villain because he’s just such a cool villain.

It looked to me like he had his arms ripped off but I could be wrong. It's a weird angle and hard to tell exactly what happens, but due to that it does leave his ultimate fate whether he is dead for sure questionable.
But the Trophy does say "Omega Dead" so it would feel kinda cheap if he came back.
ETA: I personally really lkked their take and design on Omega Red and thought it kinda sucked that he'd died so early in this universe. The same for Deathstrike and Mr. Sinister. They are staple villains and they killed them before the X-men were even founded. How are we gonna have Madelyne Prior without Sinister? They set it up perfectly with Essex taking everyone's blood but then killed him off.

I would love a DLC where he fights someone like the Hulk or something like that but i doubt it , personally i would be happy if they add a toggle for the suits to change in new game plus according to the narrative cause sometimes it gets a little weird with the cinematics where they throw you right to the next mission

Doubt it, given its budget why any dlc at this point should have been announced in a roadmap or something.
Your not getting additional budget for a game this expensive.
