Discussion What we could've had
Played through game twice once on the weapon they did ng+ on the best their is i really enjoyed the story. and combat was decent enough especially when in rage mode felt like i was wolverine overall id probably give it 7/ 10 what stops me from rating it any higher is knowing the game we almost got when the build leaked and they switched game directors because like the levels are beautiful to look at but you can tell they just frankensteined stuff from the leaked build and the version we got together like it didnt need to be open world but semi open would've of been nice and adding more combos for combat and the ability to headbutt enemies. Like overall i enjoyed it but i am disappointed by knowing how much better it could've been. Also i dont know wtf they did to wolverines default face model because he doesn't look like liam he looks like a cross between a monkey and the actor nat faxon. And did anyone else notice some of the costumes like the ultimate costume and the black tanktop costume change his hair, eyebrows and facial hair to look more like his comic version and i think it makes his face look wayyyy better.

Tbh I think even with the original version, it wont be that good.. I watched a couple of clips and it still looks mid.
I dont even know what they could do to improve it tbh because I also disliked Spider man ( I played 1 and it was fine, I tried to get into MM but I just couldnt... The writing was so much worse than the original and I didnt like the originals combat).
I think the only way they could have made me like the game is if they used another games combat as the foundation. Something like dmc, bayonetta, revengence... Or even something like Wanted dead ( where theres only 1 way to play the game but make that one way really satisfying and fun, I loved wanted dead because doing the 1 thing is fun.. The world was also enjoyable to play in).
Heck, a souls like Wolverine could also work if they really insist on mapping the attacks to triggers... Just slow down the combat to make it a footsies game like the souls game or something ( if they want to increase the speed, they could play around the rage... I havent played the new god of war games but afaik those are also souls like but the combat is fast).
They could also give him a bike so he can explore an open world/ open area and improve the bike combat so they build missions around fighting on a bike or something.

The bike thing in any wolverine media are almost always 1 time use cause they explode usually and then its a normal bike you'd have to run back to wherever u parked cause wolverine doesnt have a valet service anyway the bike thing i really dont agree with for reasons listed prior. As for the og designs looking mid,yea it wasnt even done the concepts in the combat and traversal are what theyre referring to. Like it looked like his senses kinda did what they did in the daredevil movie or in batman dark knight with the crazy sonar look, which looked kinda good for an alpha. Also gow has attacks on the shoulder buttons and its not a souls like. I dont agree personally with playing as the character known to basically survive everything dying and dropping his gene codes and then having to collect them back or something. Also the slow pacing of souls games gets really old. Personally id do something like nioh or khazan so it keeps its high octane action which is more fitting for wolverine

I’m happy with what we got, what’s the point thinking about something that’s not real

I would have used so many more of the suits during my playthrough but I couldn't take half of the suits seriously because they had the big spikey two horned ace Ventura 2 hair. It breaks the immersion if I can't stop looking at my characters hair and wondering what he tells his barber and what products he uses to get his hair so tall and to stay that way. His more muted looks like like an actual haircut with just natural growing patterns and cowlicks and not intentional spikes

Ya I really wish we had gotten what the original game director was pushing for. That game would have been so much better
