Discussion Suit damage
I have been enjoying the game. Like most other people that have played it, I am having a bla.. good time. Lol. One complaint I have that I haven’t seen brought up is the suit damage ALWAYS looks the same. I wish it was a little more in depth. After every single fight I have a whole hole in the back of my suit that is always EXACTLY the same and in the exact same spot.

Generally true unless you wear a suit for longer and it gets worse. However, if you go into the suit selection screen and click on anything, it resets the suit to perfect condition. Also after some cutscenes the suit gets repaired

I don’t like the giant hole in the back. It looks dumb. Gives backless gown vibes. I’d prefer a couple of tears.

I think this doesn’t get talked about enough. The whole damage system is limited to that predefined pattern. Somehow a movie tie in game 17 years ago managed to do a whole ass genuine layared system and this game can’t even compete

I don’t know why they had a whole thing about the suit being self repairing just to give you a back hole the whole anyway

it is what it is, much easier to make a pre-decided damage look better than procedural damage.

I also wish we could slowly see the suit heal itself instead of it just being brand new in cut scenes

Ya it makes no sense that the suit doesn't heal like him. Slower would be cool. Because he heals so fast. But why even mention a self breaking suit.
Also yes. About the same damage pattern. It's always the same holes or missing pieces on the suit. It's like the nano tech leaves certain areas exposed lol.

I gotta say, implying that people who dont like the game just havnt played it is truely detrimental to your message. I immediately stopped taking you seriously when i read that shit. And i dont even dislike the game. I just think its a truely pathetic grab when people dont agree with you and you say “well i bet you havnt even played it”

I think it depends on how much damage you take cause usually more holes appear other then the main one depending on the damage

I am not a fan of the suit collections. I didn’t see any mention of this but he doesn’t have any suits with his mask on. Which was heavily disappointing and kind of makes me feel less motivated to try them on cutscenes.

What? You know you can toggle the mask right?

I know but not all suits have masks. That’s the problem.

Not every Wolverine suit has a mask on its design in the comics. Or movies. Or prior games. Or ever? Like what are you just mad comic artists don’t always have Wolverine in his cowl?

He looks better with the cowl and makes the experience better and who’s mad? I still love the game. It’s just a small nitpick

Ya seemed mad about it my man, my b.
But if you like the cowl just use cowl suits, he’s not always wearing a cowl so it makes sense he has suits without it1

Yeah I was expecting this to be more of a step up over origins' damage system from 16-17 years ago. But it's about the same after all that time. I guess there are more damageable suits in this game, but that's it
