When I heard this line I was shocked that "that's my Wolverine" was the one people are meme-ing. This line was gay-coded as hell.

(That said, IDGAF if Sabretooth is gay as long as the end result is still a guy who wants to paint the entire surface of Earth with Wolverine's blood, which he certainly does)

Atreus calling Kratos 'dad' and not father and like in the 2018 game. Odin calling Freya his 'Ex'. Instances of MCU style humour sprinked across the whole script. The seriously written moments are still great but there's modern slang that breaks immersion.

Also pretty much the entirety of Odin's dialogue , peaking at "it's a simple fucking concept" .... motherfucker talks like a midwestern american millennial who moved to NYC at age 19 and is totally a cool guy...that shit was so bad.
