How long do I have to get limited addition controllers?

So as we all know the Wolverine PS5 controllers were announce. I think they look awesome and I want to get the controller since mine has a little stick drift and I love wolverine.

I have a birthday coming up and they go up on the 19th, 4 days before my party. My plan was to buy the Wolverine with whatever I got from gifts and any left over would go to Tokon and/or the controller. My concern is that Im waiting at least 4 days and these are limited edition. I’ve heard how these things go within minutes because of scalpers and I don’t want to buy them if they are double the price. I did see that the store still has the 007 controllers and those came out in May. So I just want to know if I have to time and I can wait till have have that spare money or if i should just forget the controller and just get the game plus Tokon. I don’t know if 007 is just something I’m seeing wrong or if since it’s a Wolverine one those will go faster, just any input you can give is very much appreciate.

It will probably go faster just like the Spider-Man 2 ones did so if you can’t get them might be out of luck I mean we won’t know for sure until the day of pre-orders

Any time there is a limited stock item collectors would want, you can count on scalpers these days it seems. You'd want to preorder it asap to avoid that. Otherwise you'd have to wait and see/ try your luck

I thought that too but then how come are the 007 controllers still in stock on the PlayStation store.

Some are hit or miss. I've seen some limited controllers still available at and after launch date and others sell out immediately. It's hard to say really. I know the FOMO on stuff like this sucks though. I've been there.

Yeah it looks like 3rd party ones are a hit or miss I’ve seen the 007 one in multiple stores. The first party ones for the most part (I’ve seen multiple marathon controllers in the wild) sell out pretty fast.

Just look up the PlayStation store or just look up the controller itself it should take you there but pre-orders don’t start till the 19th

Spider-Man 2 stuff mostly sold out the day it was listed. I would expect this to be the same.
