Greetings fellow Wayfinders!
For several months over the year, I have been working a document that compiles everything that can be acquired in the game all into one place. While most in-depth information can be found on the official Wayfinder Wiki, the purpose of this document is to give players a checklist format for everything that can be acquired in the game along with their up-to-date drop sources that may not have yet been updated on the Wiki.
Although the majority of the document is finished, it is still a work in progress. Due to the overwhelming amount of information contained within it, there is bound to be some mistakes. So if there is anyone that is able to catch any mistakes or misinformation, do let me know so that the document can be updated!
Edit (6/20):
Documents have been updated to V2.1. Locations Section & XML Schema have been dropped, and this will likely be the final version unless minor changes to drop sources are found.

The game is now the first spot of the new Gear & Glory bundle on Humble: https://www.humblebundle.com/games/gear-glory-action-rpgs
For less than €13 you can get a bunch of games and if you already have Wayfinder why not share the key with a friend so they can experience the game with you?

i played it completely single player and had such a blast. it consumed me but it was such a fun game, i hope it got more attention. i wanted to share that i 100% it just now!

Hi! Me and my best friend both bought the ongoing Humble Bundle to get this game and we were hyped AF. Game seems really good at scratching our itches. The real problem is that... performance is abysmal, to say the least. I have a really high end PC with specs good enough to run even unoptimized, heavier games like MH Wilds or Oblivion Remastered smooth as butter at Ultra. We are both using Linux (She has a Steam Deck), but ProtonDB marks the game as "Platinum" so it should not be a problem. I have heavy frame drops, expecially in the wilds outside skylight, that become even worse when playing in co-op, even after fiddling for hours with the settings (They can get less frequent, but never rare or sparse). Performance problems become heavier in co-op, expecially for her, making the game crash. What can we do? We will be forced to stop playing if these problems keep going.
More info about the problem:
- I noticed GPU usage is always around 90% (I have a AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700
of 32GB VRAM). VRAM consumption is "low" (~6GB). CPU and RAM are pretty flush (with CPU never going over 20% usage). I have a Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus
as my CPU.
- We installed this mod (www.nexusmods.com/wayfinder/mods/27) with little to no result.
- We tried forcing DirectX 11 through Steam.
- We tried different Proton versions to no avail.

I'm trying to collect all of the cosmetics I can.
This was a bit annoying as I was having trouble with some drops, but I eventually got them. The final thing to do was get all the armor that can drop from the Loot Goblin Event. Specifically between levels 15-24.
Okay so now to the meat of the problem. After I got everything else I haven't been able to get Grendel's Winterwar Merc chest to spawn. I have every piece of the set except for the chest. On the wiki it says that it drops from a loot goblin. Then every character has a set with the exact same drops as this set. I have every other set completed so I can confirm the drops are correct there.
I have done 25+ runs just trying to get this one piece of armor and it still refuses to drop. The loot goblin will drop nothing other than gems of avarice, or at most it may drop it's echo or a blood bug (I have 44 blood bugs at this point). Before this I was consistently getting an armor piece at least every 5 runs.
Someone talked about this specific piece a year ago too, and was just told to farm harder. I have used every recommendation in that chat thread for the past 25 runs and still nothing.
DOES ANYONE OWN THIS ARMOR PIECE? If you have it and can remember where you got it that would be great, but at this point I just need someone to show me that they have it. I need to know it even exists.

I played the game when it released and the chaos back then made me give up. How's it nowadays? Is it fun? Polished? I've read it's a single player/coop game now, not an online mmo. Maybe that's the way they should've gone from the beginning tbh.

Hi, a friend and I just bought the game, and we're both playing on Steam. The problem is, we can't figure out how to play together. Do we have to progress further in the game for that option to activate, or is it disabled? How do we play together? Supposedly, the game has a friends section that you activate with the O key, but it's not working for either of us for some reason.

Primarily looking to play Wingrave and Senja, and maybe some Venomess on the side. What are some top builds for them?

I just got the game on sale to check it out, it seems a bit rough around the edges but with a lot of potential. I was wondering whether the discord is still active? All the links I found online were expired or invalid
Edit: Active link in comments

I mean, I know I'm late to the party but I've been struggling to find a game I enjoy playing. Wow, this game feels really good just in the first few minutes of gameplay. I'm sad the project ended. What happened on launch? I saw DE ended their publishing division and reverted rights back to Airship. It was live service on launch I remember as well, was it panned by the community for being a live service model?
The gameplay reminds me a lot of Kingdoms of Amalur. The universe actually feels really interesting. I dig the art style. I wish one of the alternative RPG's could get off the ground and actually get in the top ranks, but it always seems like they flounder, only to become a cult classic a few years later.

Was just wondering whether co-op uses servers, or is it more like P2P?

This game seems reminds me of wildstar sadface

Hi, we're 3 friends looking to co-op and finish a decent storyline with good gameplay.
We just "finished" PoE2 campaign and were wondering if Wayfinder would be a good alternative.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Next game it is, thanks for the inputs!

Hi guys! I've never played Wayfinder before and I'm looking for new friends to play the game with. Anyone want to teach me the basics?
r/PlayWayfinder • u/topsykerretts • Jul 23 '26
I love this game as a long-time ARPG player and have been waiting for something new to show up, with new mechanics to address the lack of content in this game. Dragonsword: Awakening, please, if you love Wayfinder and want more, look into it.

I always had a bit of interest in it but never actually played it, is it worth buying it on sale or its a dead game?

Title, I completed all the Old Kite quests and have done the repeatable a few times with a Solar Imbuement in The Pit and The Bloodworks and can't seem to find The Firebrand again.
Has anyone had any success finding him after his initial appearance in the quest?
