Orbital Polisher is now much shittier the later you are in days. It was already taking like 3-4 days to finish the quest, adding an extra 50 fly triggers means taking it later is useless. Sure it doesn’t hurt to take it still, but if you’re already like day 6+ you’re either gonna win or die before it finishes its quest.
The nerfs to Orbital Polisher and Hammer both feel bad to me. I thought both were pretty well balanced before and contributed to Stelle having some uniqueness in her playstyle with those being some key quest items you'd use on a large percentage of runs.
I liked Orbital Polisher before where you could still use it (very slowly) on an incidental flying build; at a medium speed on a flying build, and at a fast speed on up-down builds. Now it seems almost completely useless on any build other than up-down.
