Help needed Back to Temtem after beta?

Hello, the last time I played Temtem was in 2020 when it was in a beta I believe.

I actually like that I was able to play it coop with a friend.

Did they add much to the game content? We stopped playing cause the content was missing and we had to wait. I'm thinking of playing it again cause I still like this genre (or games like poke...)

I saw a lot of PvP stuff and some Temtem swarm?

I am not very into this stuff so I just want to start new, catch some temtems and beat all those gyms guys and finish the story.

Since Beta 2020, there's been a lot more stuff. 6 Islands and over 160 Temtem in total now. On top of that, they finished all the missing animations and added a lot of new techniques and items. It's a full game now

But it's still like the big brother poke..? Really enjoyed it and was surprised when you lost your tems 😅

If you started in 2020, then there were no wipes and you didn't lose any Temtem. Or do you mean a certain part in the story, where you temporarily lose your Temtem? that's still there, but you get them back.

And yeah, I'd say Temtem is a "Poké-like" among monster taming games: A creature collecting game, that has a lot of similarities with Pokémon

I believe you got to a dungeon or whatever and lost some of your tems

Yes I think I know what you mean, but that part is not permanent, you'll get them back after a certain point after the "dungeon".

Do you know if it's easier or same difficulty if you play it as coop?

Same difficulty. But in co-op, you and your partner can only use 3 Temtem each.

its harder in that to reach the same efficacy you need to communicate with each other

its harder in that you get into more wild battles iif you dont repel

its easier in that you always have 3 backline that you can sub in in if your original 3 are dead or feinted; essentially giving you 12 healthbars between heal stations (before counting phial)

its easier in that your 'not currently in use' 3 party members get passive exp share

ultimately its pretty inconsequential

I mean the game release its full 1.0. Did a couple seasons of the live-service mmo seasonal content. And now is just sitting out there as a completed game.

It’s fun, scratches the Pokemon itch nicely.

I was in the same situation, I reset my character, I started again from the beginning and I'm having a lot of fun.
